This is no different than any other developer I pledged to. I set a certain max price I am willing to pay for and after that I stop pledging if they do not meet RoI to me. It really is not rocket science. I normally let out a little rage monkey and then just be on my way as I think I earned it. NergalsNest was a great example of this.

Do I want other people to not pay, no. Do I wish people had more common sense like me, yes. The developers are not entitled to my money.

As I said at the beginning, being a patreon means believing in the content creator or wanting to guarantee the flow of content. If over the months (and years) the updates are null or minimal. The foolish thing would be to keep paying.

I was referring more to the case of a potential developer who is simply having a bad time, and continuing to support him can encourage him to continue when he comes out of that bad streak.

Yeah, it doesnt matter all that much how much it takes (i mean not all that much but still some proof of him being alive/undead its necessary) as long as he finishes the game with all the intended features (and if more im not gonna say no to them XD)

Patreon donations are supportive. Support for promises, support because you believe in the artist, support because you want to guarantee the flow of content that you like but ... How much should be paid? $ 1? $ 2? $ 5? $ 1000.5?

If you were paying an exorbitant sum each month, I would understand your anger. But if you pay the equivalent of a loaf of bread, a can of Coke ... I imagine you can surely afford it. A person who pays $ 25 and does not see results as the months go by, can stop paying ... Or he can go on to pay the minimum amount, which continues to be support but at the lowest cost. And something undeniable is that when the artist who is, takes 2-3 months without working on his game and deposits $ 500-10,000 in his bank, he knows that continuing to work that is easy money. How stupid would pass up that source of income?

Therefore, and this is the point I wanted to get to, investing the equivalent of 1 coffee, a loaf of bread, a bone dildo ... it is NEVER a waste. There are worse ways to waste your money than investing your money in the artist you like.

If i were a forum mod i would feel a lot of pain when comes to deleting a lotta trashtalk replies which exceeds over at least 350 pages. including survivor's guilt pages.

There's a lot of games in f95 and you just have to pick on this one for the same thing all over and over again, you can just follow up other games while this one gets an update but it seems that's a hard thing for many non-paysupporters to do lmao!

If you can't wait for an update then just leave to other game and that's it, whining on and on and on about the X dev not delivering Z updates in an particular amount of Y time its just stupid

Yesterday I started replaying it from the beginning and I wondered why I ended up playing it at first, let me explain:

In erotic games, I am used to "mouse" controls. It shocks me to have to have both hands on the keyboard to control MC. Also, and although I like big boobs, Martha's udders initially threw me off to the point that I abandoned the game for a few months.

So, I don't remember how it was, I was bored and I gave it a chance: The setting, I took a certain affection for the character of Martha and Lucile ... I love the game, but I wouldn't know if it had been from the first impression. How curious. Do not?

I come to the thread from time to time to read what people say... even though some folks advice me no to do so. But keep in mind that me NOT being around here doesn't mean I "went away"... nor being active here means I "came back". I don't use this thread as a "proof of life" but more of a entertainment for me. And with that I mean this is not an official platform to my work, just a sharing spot... (for filthy pirates).

About my website (which is actually just a blog). I haven't use it in a while because it is not needed. I just keep it live because I want to maintain the domain for future use. If you want an official community to join, go to my discord servers (links are on my signature)

Also, about the trello(s)... those I always forget I got them. I mainly use them as a "This is what it is planned for the next update"... But I don't really have any intention to keep it up to date everytime.

In general... I'm not very active on the internet like other devs. Heck!, I even got a twitter that I barely use. And for those folk that may say "But, doc!, you should be trasparent and share everything to everyone!!"... I say: "No, I don't need to do that... I'm not the government". If I have anything important to share, I will... and if you are in my main discord server, you will know about it. And some people may say "Fuck you then!"... which I reply "Thanks!".

But don't worry to much... when the update is ready, I'm sure it will be posted here in no time, this is a "filthy pirate" coven after all.

About the "attacks"... I learned to enjoy them at some degree. Which is great, 'cause I'm not the kind of guy that enjoys not to enjoy things... which makes me think that I should learn to enjoy to not enjoy things... this is getting weird.

EDIT: I also gotta admit that I wanted people to write "fake" attacks to see if the people who actually want to attack me join the wagon... which they did.

We all have haters, doc. As I said a long time ago, I wrote stories, and I usually take "long pauses." Writing '' a lot '' has given me loyal readers, but it surprises me that after 1 year and a half without writing anything new, anybody waits for my new appearances to call me lazy.

I am glad that you are clear about what you want and how you want to do it. If so many people follow you, it's because you're worth it. They are willing to pay you or not.
