If the game save file could be edited or modified it would be a place to start for looking and exploring the cheat process. I have not found a way to decode the game save file.

As for cheats the Developers mentioned a free DLC coming out soon that includes all the cheats. Pretty crappy when you know your product sucks enough that you NEED cheats.

LOL... I went crazy trying to get that cheat to work in the old game until I figured it out. I posted in an old forum about it so others wouldn't have to feel as dumb as I did.

Never play this game without cheating the fighting buff, I keep that shit at 999 just to one shot everything.
If want a more fair playthrough, than go to downtown and find a black guy or rocker who has 9 balls and 8 strength and get either a guitar or go to the husky bar and see if yo u can find the mayor, he has 10 + sword and 8 strength and makes a lot of early fights easier

honestly the dev is on some fucking crack himself if he really thinks a 4 minute timer to beat 20 enemies and bone 5 chicks is doable even with cheats thats fucking stupid i just watched an old video of an older gameplay of the mission im on(mission 8, part 2 Bitches Get It In The End) and in the older version there is no timer of fucking course. idk how anyone can beat this game without cheats to begin with but even with cheats this mission is fucking stupid it gives u no time and all the dumb whores take 10-15 seconds just to get into the animation of having sex which u have to instantly cancel and move along whoever thought this up is actually braindead
edit: not only did it take me a while but even when i finally did it, the quest didnt trigger and i had to redo it again LMAO at least im past it and found a speedrun route...

The save file isn't encrypted immediately. It seems random when it does, but won't have info for maps you haven't visited yet.
I've only been able to get the beach and forrest. As soon as I enter gabacho the next save I do will be encrypted.
You can edit with Notepad++ early before it's structure is changed. Notepad probably can't handle the header before -- SAVE START --
There are still a few things you can edit in there that will reset you to fat and poor. Just changing it back to what it was will fix the save.
Attached an edited save that's only done the tutorial if anyone else wants to look at it. Has lots of money/drugs/unlocked all abilities. Only three positions still locked because I couldn't get them by editing the file.

I noticed bindings for them in game as well as the store page saying it has "partial controller support" but I haven't tried it.
Yeah the balance is all over the place, I was hoping with all the other improvements we'd get a better balanced game but if anything it's even harder this time around as some missions have enemies using mushrooms and other abilities in addition to severely outnumbering you.
That's the problem my strength is at 15 and I still can't get past the escort part of chapter 2 the enemy spawn rate is too fucking high. And that's the problem with this game it doesn't matter have strong you are the enemy swarms you and once they knock you down you have 4 guys stun locking you so you can't fight back or defend. And I can't imagine the later chapters being easier or more fare.

if u want my advice i brute force most of the game by just giving myself fuck tons of peyote and spamming jump + the lightning stun til they die, theres like a 2 second window where u and other non stunned npc's watching can move before they attack u between each one so u can try to get all of them in one area then just spam to death lmao

Installing DXVK through winetricks fixed that for me, now it looks and runs only as awful as the developers intended. I used the Lutris 5.4 build of Wine, didn't check any others.

yeah dont bother. i got up to c9 legitimately and got up to where you have to go against two sets of like 8+ rocker guys to impress tina and whom the fuck ever her sister is and that shit sent me over the edge. im not opening this game back up until i cool down enough to set up the cheats.
Guys if you encounter bug with story animations suddenly being locked then dont worry and keep playing when you finish the last mission you can then replay missions with those animations and they will be unlocked again.
