I don't think a girl being convinced to do slutty things in order to get a job was really an original idea in Katie's corruption. It is a trope in countless porn movies. It's not just the story play concept, as many other elements are also copies... Such as the "bald" pervert boss in a suit (both visually and his personality), the boyfriend at home, being forced to get that specific job, etc... It may be a plot concept used in some real porn (as you claim), but to have two Visual Novel/Games be so close to being practically carbon copies of one another, shows a real lack of creativity and original thinking by the author of this VN/Game... Basically it feels like an attempt to steel the thunder of someone else's work, by riding on their coat tails...

Now, there could be totally different story elements in future updates, we'll have to wait and see... But I get this vibe, that most likely it will follow most of the same patterns, just like it does right now... I may not like Katie's, but I still find it sad to see someone else steeling so many concepts from someone else's work, just because they are unable to come up with their own concepts, to include visual concepts...

I wish someone would make a game with a female protag who's not a monster girl/supernatural being or some shit who's an independent woman who just likes to have a good time. Why does a woman having sex with a ton of guys always being "corrupted"? Why can't it just be about a woman in her prime who just likes fucking? Anyway won't comment anymore, as I don't like people who go into threads and fetish bash, and I guess corruption is technically a fetish. And a well-catered to one at that.

I honestly don't think it is a ripoff of katie's corruption, there is 1 major difference, the woman in the story is married (jokes aside), its not wrong for him/her to maybe get an inspiration from kc, he did place an effort to render all the scenes with entirely unique scenes which is not blatantly copying everything from kc, it may feel like he is doing it in your eyes (he has just made like 5 minute of gameplay ffs, give the man some breathing room) but if you are gonna say that he is doing it regardless, we should just put kc copying/getting inspiration from lily of the valley & many other games into the list. I just find it mean to rate a game negatively which is just 5 minutes long to a game which is hours long.

Who cares if there are elements used from other games? The scenario is not a copyrighted exclusive one invented by Katie's Corruption. As mentioned before it is and was used many times by other games, novels or porn movies before. And having an ugly guy is nearly essential for a corruption game . So give the dude a chance, I will follow the development of this game.

Well, if it goes off in completely different directions at some point, and I revisit the game, then I'll update my review at that time, but for now it's not a completely carbon copy, but it's definitely copying a lot of story concepts and visual concepts... If it hadn't followed such an almost exact pattern of game play, story elements, and visual concepts, then I might have rated it differently... But for the moment (in it's current incarnation), it looks more like a rip off game, then a unique and individual product... Guess we'll have to wait and see if it continues to be a rip off, or if it breaks away and becomes it's own thing...

Ripoffs of great things are still good things. Learn to enjoy them. Examples: Pepsi Cola, Battlestar Galactica etc.

Tried the game yesterday. The story pacing and writing needs way more development, but not judging still as this only .01 release. I did like that theres a lot of choices very early in the game with different branches really fast.

Im giving this game a chance and wishing its creator the best.

Well, just to stick my two cents and run....I agree 100%. Girls liking sex shouldn't jump to slut level. Guys sow their "wild oats" and it's all good. Why can't women enjoy a few men's "wild oats", find mr right, and it's all good. A society.

I haven't played this but just based on the pics, the backgrounds behind the characters looks horrendous. In fact, everything about that lazy floating character style some devs use is horrible. But if you absolutely have to do it, at least give the background a depth of field effect. It won't make the game any better but at least it'll be easier on the eyes.

That's actually something I'd really like to know. I'm a lurker by nature and haven't really found any good corruption games beyond those two.
