Did you try reading previous replies? There's a known issue with v0.745 that results in a "fatal error" crash. There's a couple of workarounds that have been posted here in the last couple of days. You just need to go back one or two pages and read previous posts.

If it's all to complicated then simply revert to whichever version you were using previous to v0.745.

I fix it by removing the config folder in the save of your original game!

Hard to describe the exact location but if you swim underwater enough you'll come across a pillar, Yasmine(clam girl) is located nearby, however I can't get her to come out and everyone on discord is quiet about it on the public channels. From what the wiki says I assume you have to find a pearl somewhere and bring it to her which she then gives to you to give to the slime in the dungeon. If you've already taken the slimes keystone you'll probably have to make a new character to get her happy ending but I could be wrong. As to the whereabouts of the pearl I haven't found it yet, I presume it's underwater somewhere but swimming is so slow and the game is so crash prone that I haven't had much luck. Here's a picture for reference.

The pearl is right under her when she opens up. Remember that the clam is bigger than the rest in the ocean.

I found her from jumping off the dock near mirru and swimming close to the bottom and away from the dock. She's quite aways out.

How do you get her to open up though? Every time I "talk" to her it says something like "you hear moans and squishy noises" with the only dialogue option booting you out of the conversation. You have to have sex with the kraken first then the pearl appears under Yasmine.

This feels like one of the better polished Unreal Engine games out there.

However, the game pace feels very slow and contrived.
Distances are just too big for the sake of being big, very annoying in a game that revolves around daily routine.

The problem is, it's a vast sea of nothing. Not enough interaction to justify wasting 80% of my time running from point A to point B.

I momentairly solved this by using Cheat Engine's speedhack set to some hotkeys: 1x, 1.25x (which feels more natural for some reason), 2x, 5x, 10x and 2 keys that add or substract 0.25 with each press.
No idea if it's an UE thing, but 1.25x helps animations feel smoother on lower framerate (24-30)... a nice bonus.

Also useful in case you want to skip some wild encounter scenes, since there' s no option to quit them i just put it to 10x real quick and in 2 seconds it' s over.

Yep, there's a known issue with v0.745 ALPHA, lots of folks who updated to that version have already been posting about it. There's a couple of workarounds that have been posted, but, seeing as I've held off updating to v0.745 (or any of the other recent ALPHA releases), I don't know which works best. Check the previous posts for the details of the workarounds, alternatively just revert to the previous version you were using.

I get the error then Window Mode is not set to Windowed.

If you got this error open
"C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Local\Radiant\Saved\Config\WindowsNoEditor\GameUserSettings.ini" and remove "FullscreenMode=0".

Here you can also set a Limit for the Framerate to reduce GPU usage. "FrameRateLimit=60.000000"

I went to play this on my old pc since my new one is down, I received an error message saying I'm missing some "api ms win crt runtime" file. Anyone else ever encounter that?
If not I'll probably just wait until the new pc is up and running again. Either that or see how strong my google-fu is.

There's your problem. You need at least DirectX10, preferably 11, and that means 64bit OS minimum as well.

It's old relative to the new one, I want to say 3 years, but I did the whole dxdiag thing and it's still X11 and 64 bit.
Looking into the missing .dll file now, trying to see if maybe it's something I can download and just drop into a folder or something.

well, the game is all about opening the gates so that you have more Nephelym, so it doesn't seem strange to me that there are these updates now that he's done creating Nephelym, landscapes and animations.
I don't know if you know but until recently there were no gates, they were placed after and as far as I'm concerned I prefer it like this compared to before you just had to do breeding.
