i didnt try this game out when it was still in renpy since i wanted to see where this was gonna go and im glad i waited because they made the smart choice to move away from renpy to unity. that being said, its clear that this game wants fill in the exact hole breeding season left and so far it does that to a T. I have faith that at least this team has their shit together since this looks to be shaping up into something good.
I do have one concern though, but its not really a fault with the game itself. Sure, this could be the game that can essentially replace breeding season, but are they content with that? Just be breeding season but not fucked up development? Keep in mind between the death of breeding season and the start of this game's development, we've had breeders of the nephelym for a while now and that game and it certainly had more ambition than breeding season and im not saying that because its 3d. the character customization, free roam, being able to transform into one of the monsters and use the form to breed, that game went above and beyond what breeding season hoped to do. The verity in monsters is pretty crazy too. Now I get that being a 3d game vs a 2d game, games like this would have a much harder time (or just downright unfeasible) implement some of those features. This isnt just me saying this game better have those features or demanding anything specific, im saying im hoping it'll aim to be much higher than the game it's inspired by. This game doesnt have to be just the breeding season replacement.
Now the devs for this can have any goal they want, if all they desire to be is just a complete version of breeding season, hey, I would say thats a smart and realistic goal. Better to be practical and more financially viable than trying to be the next big thing and flopping hard. No. Most of the content from renpy is in the unity version. Also unity has new content like the elf.
Breeding Farm will suffer with the slow process of animations between breeding partners. However, Breeding Farm is already showing it's own identity with the story.
Oh it most certainly will. I think they're learning first hand how much of a process developing breeding season and what kind of rabbit hole it is when it comes to assets and animations. But stuff like this is what separates a solid and creative dev team and one that will buckle and crumble like breeding seasons.
And yea, the story itself is definitely in a different lane than breeding seasons, or at the very least it has more lore than it. The characters have a lot more interactions than in breeding season which is another score in their book.
But when I bring up this point you should already be aware how much this game basically looks like if breeding season got rebooted. The 4 building 2 on each side town layout. The puritan church with the easily seduced white hair zealot who comes and collects money. Even the art style looks like breeding seasons from the characters to the monsters.
On one hand I find it kind of impressive how they've basically revived breeding season in everything but in name (and even then they're just one word off for legal reasons, otherwise whats the difference there either?), and maybe thats their intent and I cant knock them for sticking to their goals.
On the other hand while breeding farm is, for all intents and purposes, an "original" IP, I'd be interested to see what they can do beyond just being a revived game. Stuff like the blackjack minigame is a good start. But like with breeders of the nephelym i hope they expand their monster list past just what breeding season was going to do. BotN added creatures like goblins and orc, slimes, bees, dragons, giants, even freaking ALIENS. Now I say all that know adding more monster type is more work for the developers (and its not nearly as much work to create and animate by hand unlike 3d modeling), but given its the primary draw of the game I would expect adding new monsters would be a goal too. I get that they're still just getting started so the monsters from breeding season is a good starting point. But at certain point it would be, in my opinion to branch away from being a faithful recreation to something of their own making.
Hopefully, Breeding Farm will do something to keep themselves separate from BotN too. It seems you need humanoid type monster for humans to mate with them. Centaurs wouldn't work plus Cloud Meadow already has them. After the basic five(Feline, Canine, Bovine, Equine, and Harpies), they can add unique monsters that BotN and Breeding Season didn't have in their games.
For a clear differentiation from BoTN or CM route they can actually focus more on the farm species, since it has 'farm' in its name after all, wouldn't hurt to have more than just bovines & equines humanoid

I dont think thats true considering Breeding Season had ferals and straight up plants so unless im missing some lore i dont think being a humanoid is a requirement.
Im not saying Breeding Farm has to be exactly what BotN does and have all their monsters, just that it can help be itself by adding its own set of monster alongside returning ones from Breeding Season.

First of all let me say that i absolutelly love this game. Breeding Season was one of the first adult games that I played and I missed the theme a lot.
That being said I have a question? Is there a max of traits that a monster can have? If yes, how many traits there are out there?

Thought breeding season was superior to cloud meadow for staying in its lane and not cucking out of incest, breeding farm looks promising so far
Even if incest can't be mentioned for patreon reasons, it would still be nice to have a genealogy feature as a reminder

Shouldn't be happening when a Mac User (Me) is the one creating the build. You got it from this site? If so and it's still goofy, try our actual Patreon page, public version Mac.

Patreon version had the same problem, but I found solution. You should move Breeding Farm app to Applications folder. After that problem with infinity load is gone. Looks like Applications folder gives some permissions. MorahZamora wman190 sorrkia

I've been reading through a lot of the past comments I've missed over the past few months. Really appreciate the good feedback and the supportive ideas you've all been providing. Very beneficial to our team's morale and pushes us to try more stuff out.
...but can I be honest with you guys? I've never played this game all the way through. Amity Park was always definitely the major thing that drew me to work with GZone, and to help make Team Bieno what it's already become in a modest amount of time. Now, I was glad to hear GZone wanted to create another game other than a Danny Phantom parody, because as much as I loved working on it, it was bogging us down creatively to only focus on ONE specific IP/game. It was more work for us to do LESS work, if that makes sense.
But, I always had Amity Park in my head as the "moneymaker" game and something I wanted to expand upon even greater than when GZone first started on his own (As an aside, I think you guys will be really happy to see what we're doing with that game in the next update as well, for those who are a fan of AP. Even more so in the anticipated "Redux Update".) And so I've never really gotten too far into reworking/replaying the game to help improve it, especially since we switched to Unity. And I don't think that's right to you guys as fans, or to my team! So, I feel it's only fair that I need to start giving back to BF even more, outside of just proofreading the scripts.
So, I'm actually going to ask something embarrassing, but it will greatly help me as a developer: how do I cheat/play better at this game?
I want to know how best to go about it from people who have played through the current content, and how to just cheat the hell out of it as well. It'll allow me to go through it at least once and get an idea where things need to better optimized in the script, GUI, font, backgrounds, etc. I tried doing this on my own, but I actually couldn't make enough money for the first month and failed without saving Lol. So, any help on this would be greatly appreciated!

Why the fuck i see comment about renpy game in threat of Unity game. I;am found cheats in comments and they are not working, reading futhere i see the cheats for renpy. what the actually working cheats? can someone help please?

BF started out as a Ren'Py game, we moved it to Unity. Trying to find out the cheats myself.
A pity. i can't unren this this game and find cheats by myself. And i think normaly you can't extract unity game also. Ok, i will wait until someone post cheats. No reason to play 2 game years to test this unfinished game. And the most annoying this save game type, i alredy cheated some nson files with Artmoney but it broke saves, so better not cheat like this. Is there nson save editor maybe? i only found this program but it seems it is only for Dev's use.

Not strange. You're using an old version that runs on Ren'Py. We make this game in Unity now, so we restarted the numbers as well to help reflect that.
