Putting on the clothes usually starts the event.
That dress is neither designed nor intended for "general use" in the house and is only worn in webcam shows.
A few with Barbara and a few on her own in her studio.

/edit and btw the event has no day attached. Barbara does her show every day of the week.

Well guess it's another bug I'll just have to stomach. Unfortunately bothing happens in the house when I put the dress on so I guess I'm SOL. :(

There are a few instances of "Wait on Michael" and they ALL are pickups from your home.
Because of this the day can't be specified either, for the one Owl tells you about in the new content it is dynamic i.e. the next day she notified you.
Alex should™ be getting ready for that on her own an hour or so earlier.

To be fair it only has two attractions.

Rubys fuckho ... err I meant apartment and a bakery with buff food.

Guys, can you tell me why, after Alex and Snake's first sex session, there's an error starting Letty's quest? Maybe some other trigger is needed? (from earlier versions of the game when Alex first met Snake)

hello guys, i need some help, i have this "find a job" quest but I don't know how to complete it, I've been to the artic cafe, the casino, the red quarter and nothing worked, there is another job that I haven't discovered yet?

No.

That is a bug and there is no workaround for it.

If you acquired a job in the arctic cafe that step is complete, it was purely a part of the "welcome to jade city!" questline.

Yes.

But as previously in an earlier reply said that bug is purely visual meaning it has absolutely no impact on the game whatsoever.

At some mornings (forgot which days sadly) she can be found sitting at the café.

This is really good, so i'm just stuck in the story in my save, I won't need to discard hours of gameplay

Yes.

You have that "unfinishable quest" stuck there, but you can safely ignore that.
Honestly I'd wish there was a solution or workaround but the only one that comes to mind is that dangerous and complicated (it includes messing with the files) that I wouldn't even try.
