Paying them off leads to the true ending. Rather the game is set up that instead of paying them off. Your main goal for the side endings is to rope in a poor sap to waifu you. Either the rich boy fiance or the rich business man who lost his best friend to corruption. You are trying to increase your favour with them so save scum often. You meet the rich boy at the massage and the real estate office. You meet the rich business man at the clothing store and the hostess club.
Ok....why did you tell me what I already know? I mean play the game and its quite obvious. What makes no sense is who you pay them off even if you don't have all the funds.
That is probably because there doesn't seem to be a fail state for if you cannot pay off the amount. It's either capture a boy or pay off. There doesn't seem to be an ending for when you cannot pay.
Yeah, I'm finding the audio kinda weird. Keeps slowing down and crackling. There's also no option to just turn music off, as far as I can tell. Unlocked most of the gallery (just missing #12, not sure if it's worth hunting dowm) with just a couple of hours of idle clicking, but they only start at the CG start via that, and only seem to give 6 saves so goodbye "just bookmark them". Not that I like being mean but it feels like they've done the bare minimum to make this a "game." At least some of the scenes are neat though.
