I think the critique is more the uneven development, you have one mostly finished story line (and an arena). Yet guards let you wounder around restricted areas and carry contraband even after getting caught and defeating the player. The prison still feels mostly empty where you mostly only encounter the other prisoners in random encounters.

Sure, just saying there is a distinct difference between the two. With monster girls you can expect human features, like an attractive woman's face and the upper body is often human. Sometimes their appearance is entirely human, such as the Yuki-onna. With furries, the design is entirely animalistic, from the upper body to even the head/face.

i dont see why there is such a confusion in the monster girl community and the furry community. i tried to state my opinions on the game, because i really like the graphics and would like to play it but i cant really enjoy it without at least semi human characters; but i really did not expect to offend anybody.

The progression of that storyline is really weird, too. You go straight from trying to help another prisoner who's getting picked on to watching her drink herself to death and the next logical progression is uh...that she becomes your prison slave bitch? I felt like I went from point A to point W.

I'm not aggressively anti-sub content, I'm more than good with a nice mix, but with a premise like this I'm going into it wanting to try my best to make it in prison. It's not just that there's more sub content; it's that the story so far seems to require you to immediately become someone's bitch and she wants nothing to do with you if you bite back. Part of the appeal of a premise like this, even from a submissive angle, is that you're struggling against the grain. Here it's like it's expecting you to immediately cave to pressure and that's not a very fun angle for dom OR sub content in a prison setting.

I do hope it sorts itself out a little better because I adore the base systems of the game.

to be honest there's a weird black and white of "fight back till the end" and "instantly submissive for no real reason", and most of the time the fight back option isnt implemented yet like the intro sets you up for.
You get ambushed right out of the mine and if you lose you can say okay and be totally submissive, or fight and lose and... be totally submissive or just walk off. Your character fights to not be raped then instantly starts calling her mistress and saying her pussy tastes good and that they want to be fucked.

It's a product of the times really. Generally, I agree that it's all getting out of hand, but putting politics aside. I think when a developer touches on the subject that letting the player choose for themselves is a wise move.

It's meant to be a fantasy for the player. Imagine how annoying that would be to code as well, every single character calls you the incorrect pronoun then you have to correct them every time? It's fine, it harms literally nobody. The only reason that people would be mad about it is if they don't believe in it, despite it having no effect on them.

^ Precisely this. It's just one of those things that you kinda have to hand wave to a certain degree when there's any real degree of customization.

There are ways that developers have tried to work around this. If I remember correctly, if it's configured to use automatic genders Lilith's Throne will auto-assign the player's gender based on how masculine their face is, but that kinda falls apart from a realism perspective if they have a gigachad face coupled with a pair of double-D honkers (maybe there are exceptions like this…I don't remember. Regardless, you're gonna have to deal with a lot of exceptions if you try to guess).

It's much easier to just let the player pick it and roll with it. Sure, it's a bit immersion breaking, sure, but I'd prefer that the NPCs are psychic rather than any of the other alternatives I've seen, many of which are even more stilted and unrealistic.

Yeah, I kinda wish there were some neutral options when it comes to Tavi. Maybe something like that is planned for the future.

As of right now you either fight her off and she immediately hates you (until you apologize like a good sub?) or you immediately submit to her. Either way, her dommy nature falls off pretty quickly. Part of that makes a bit of sense when you play through her quest line, but it still feels a bit disjointed.

I mean, in this kind of games it's kinda understandable.
Unless misgendering is a kink that the game is trying to support, it's simpler to just let the player pick. In such games, there are countless sex/gender-related things that are customizable that it's very hard to implement a way for each NPC to track what they think of the player. It's easier to assume that everyone in the furryland respects the preferred pronouns.
I mean, where do you draw a line between a femboy and a shemale with small tits? The game tells the player to decide.

Here it does makes sense as your a prisoner thus they probably got your gender from your records and the prisoners learned from overhearing guards talking you.

So first you said the game focuses on one thing at a time, to which I pointed out how abjectly false that was, and now you're saying that expecting them to do that is an unrealistic expectation. So which is it?

I made objective observations and criticisms, I don't expect anything. I also never said or implied that the game or content needs to be finished.

Updates can introduce content that's actually developed instead of just releasing barely existent content and features. And as much as this game's changelog would lead you to believe otherwise, you also don't need to let content rot for nearly a full year before revisiting it to finish or add to it. That's not even touching on the absurd content distribution, either.

It is a line of practicality, if the PC is an anythingblob that can potentially blur all the lines it's just flat-out a better setup for it to ask you what you want to hear, but it's also a limitation of subject matter. If the story is specifically about something like that then it can go all in on the idea, cover the friction between heteronorms and people that fall outside of them &c. If not then it either has to throw one of them out entirely or only acknowledge the both of them selectively and the second option leads to inconsistencies.

Besides, the idea that even furries in an oppressive space prison are be more sexually open is not at all hard to swallow.

the debug option fixs this left side click DG and a menu will pop and 1 of the many options is to remove all restraints ...your stuck with the coller tho donest seem to be any option removing that
BUT at least all other restraints can be removed
