used to enjoy this VN until dev thought it was a good idea to have one LI mess with another LI behind MCs back...
to the trash it goes...
also at the moment this VN might require the Netorare tag since the MC doesn't know what Casey has done in those days she wasn't answering her phone and 1st thing he sees after that is Casey and Val kissing each other....

Will never understand why devs do that.. oh well to the trash it goes.

Hello everyone,

As you have probably noticed, it has been quiet around us lately. On the one hand, this is because we were very busy with our jobs again, and on the other hand, we took a break to think about the future and further course of the project.

To be honest, we were very unmotivated. We started creating Burger Boy in September 21 without any prior knowledge and were then excited and hopeful in January 22 when we released the first version of our game. And to be honest, the feedback was very modest.

We expected more, more feedback, both positive and negative, more clicks, more reviews, and of course, more Patreons.

We knew that we would not start directly from zero to one hundred, but we did not expect such a small response. With every update that we released in the last 12 months, the content grew, and the quality always increased. Especially the quality of the renders and animations improved more and more until we reached update 0.35, and we were really proud of our work.

We thought we had finally reached the quality and quantity to make the jump and become one of the big fish. But even this time, the success remained almost completely absent, except for the feedback from our loyal followers of the past year. And great frustration set in. Yes, great frustration.

After all, we had invested a large part of our free time and money in realizing Burger Boy for almost 15 months, and apparently, we missed our goal once again. And now what? Yes, we asked ourselves this question for the last six weeks, as our motivation was, to be honest, approaching zero. After six weeks of deliberation, we have come to a decision that will not please everyone.

First, we can reassure you that it will continue, and Tod's adventures are not over yet. BUT in the future, it will take longer for updates to come. Until now, we have tried to release an update with about 20-30 minutes of content every 6-8 weeks, depending on reading speed.

We will not be able to maintain this speed and will continue at our own pace, for the sake of our health and family life. Maybe we will be able to increase the speed again someday when we realize that it is worth investing so much time. But as long as this is a pure hobby project without being profitable in any way, it is unfortunately no longer possible.

Yes, I know we receive some money through Patreon, but this money does not even cover our electricity costs for rendering. I hope I have clarified your questions a bit now and also hope that you will remain loyal to us.

I wish you all a good time with Burger Boy and hope to see you at the next update.

First of all, thank you for all your work on this fantastic fun game.
For me, it's been really great and fun. Lots of stuff to praise about the game, but i especially liked the characters' design.
Lastly, i am amazed at the little reaction this game received. It's just wrong, like there are many games lower in quality in all aspects and got better attention than this, it's unfathomable. it's very sad that you will slow down updates, but it's understandable given the circumstances.
Hope you continue this amazing game and to keep your and our hopes up.

Good luck..

You have to look at your situation from more sides.
1:Reviews and discussions about the game are really low.

2:This game was not posted by you, it was posted by the staff of the website. The homepage does not show whether you have your own F95 account. You almost never talked to players in the comments section before.
For veteran players, this situation is usually not for a comment, because in most cases it proves that the writer doesn't read f95.

3:Most of the players on this site don't watch the P site. For one thing, because we are poor, we wouldn't come here if we weren't poor.On the other hand, the infamous [MilfyC] incident made more people reluctant to even look at the P website.

4: To be honest with you, this game is still in its initial stage, the story is not rich yet, and there is nothing to discuss.

Don't know if this is a general problem, but i have been trying to subscribe to your patreon multiple times and get declined every time - it might explain why your subscriber count is a bit stagnant.

No, that is correct. We have temporarily suspended payments for two months due to our current state of demotivation. During this time, Patreon will not allow any additional patrons. We believe it would be unfair for people to contribute their hard-earned money while we're not actively working on the game. We plan to resume payments once we release our next update.

But thanks anyway :)

I don't know if something has been redone in this game or if my pc is sick, the fact is that the animations have stopped working. The scenes that lead to animations, or at least are inside the downloaded file, do not work, the animation does not enter and I only see static images. Any suggestions?

Thanks for the game! Valerie's model is a work of art, but all models are great.
I like the story, i like how even tough it is a porn game where everyone wants to fk the mc, there is some jealousy and drama to manage between the two sisters and the mother and how they had different personalities and have different opinions about sharing MC (talking about the dialogue between the sisters at the end).
Criticism: while it was never painful to read and everything was perfectly understandable, there are lots of typos to fix. There are a few instance that clickable buttons appear in the game, but none of them seem to serve a purpose. One was by itself, so there wasn't another option but to click it, making it pointless. Other times there were two options, like which apartment to go to, but only one option advanced the story, the other just said that there was nothing to do there, so once again, what is the point of that?
Then, while i enjoyed Tod's side stories (todtanic and todasic park) i don't see what the point of him being in the story is. The MC is not very good to him, locking him in the bathroom for a while, and then Tod does nothing more than to be bitter at MC for him getting the girls. His role in the story could have just been wrapped up all together with MC's best friend character. Hope he acquires more relevance in the future.

This feedback is completely personal, so take it with a grain of salt: it took me a lot of time to decide on trying this game out because of the borrowed influence from "Ted", not because I was against borrowing it, but because I've felt that it was just not for me.

As a bonus there was a ton of advertisments featuring Ted in my country so that didn't help. The game itself is amazing, it was just that initial look at it that made me reconsider. I doubt it will help much as a data sample of 1.

Is the game still being worked on cause the link to their patron shows nothing?
Yeah patreon is gone, that usually means the game is dead and buried. Maybe VarnsGames can confirm that

Sometimes when the page is like that, they have disabled it, a few devs have did that while not actively working on the game so people won't bet charged.
