What the fuck? I was really enjoying this, invested in every character, and felt sure it was going on my watch list. And then that scene in Victoria's room...why give the player a choice if you're just going to ignore it? And in that way, at that stage of the story? I am totally baffled. If it's just that you needed some motivating event, I'd go back to the drawing board.
EDIT: Plus you already have one, as described in the synopsis. The MC joining the army, and how that affects the people who care about him...I don't know why Victoria needed to be given all agency in the MCs relationships.
