i grabbed version from a patreon and reported it here so links will be s00n updated

Did you also provide the file it uses to verify your account data, that will get the account banned from their Patreon? Without that file most people here will just get a warning message on the title screen and will be unable to play.

And I'm really not looking forward to a dozen pages of "why doesn't it work" posts mixed with "It doesn't work because the upload's broken".

Edit: Not only did you not include that data, you also left the other data included in the download that identifies your account. RIP to your ability to download from their Patreon.

Edit 2: Reported OP with details about the Patreon build and why it does not function for people. Moderators will sort it out, and I assume the result will be that they'll revert back to the Steam version that this replaced.

Can't they copy or move UE4 progess to UE5? Such a sad wast of UE4 good progress tbh plus the dragoness which you don't see often but make climx inside like the captured naga

I do not understand why some people need to do stupid things and fuck with F95 staff.

THe UE5 version the intro of the history it quite interesting showing how you chatacter can change the appearance.
But, making it a zombie like scenario it kinda different. Specially that its going to be the history from here til end.
Meanwhile in the UE4 version, is more about zealots, thiefs, conflicts between factions, that make it more interesting, plus,the map is very (well the npc dont do much) alive. THe exploration is more fruitful because you get body parts and cosmetics. But the intro is to weird, rigth direct with weapons.
Aaaaannddd got stuck in the Liquid Gold mission goingat midnigth to see who is the smuggler.
So far the i have being enjoing more the UE4 version.

UE4 has always been pre-alpha. The proper intro and the beginning of the story never occurred. I don't think it was meant like that. You just have equipment so you can make some playtest...and if you die - instant respawn - nothing can stop me!No game over.
A lot of things have never been implemented and completed. But otherwise I agree. The idea of the UE4 version was good. More freedom, less hand-holding,exploration,rewards, strong lewd story/porn story (a lot of porn action RPGs has a problem with this, most are just normal games + some scenes as rewards or fucking enemies).
There are not many games that could offer something like that.

I played it once briefly at the very beginning, but it had almost no content. I recently started playing UE4 again to complete it as much as possible. But to be honest, I play the game so rarely and for such a short time that every time I start it, I completely forget where I am and what I wanted to do. Maybe I should leave it alone, especially as it is not being further developed...

By the way, does the UE5 version have controller support?

Not directly as-is. That said, they have been porting content and animations as they become relevant. Much of what exists in UE4 isn't lost forever - just later in the game in areas that UE5 doesn't have access to.

I hope you can explain it to me in a simpler way, but this raises a doubt for me, if we have the files, isn't it possible for someone to create a crack? I'm just asking theoretically, if I knew about programming I could understand all the possible drama xd

The Patreon version has protections on it that the developers use to track down and ban the account that shared it, and also get used to lock people out at the title screen if they don't have some files installed in a separate location by the launcher. Those separate files contain a significant amount of data regarding your Patreon account and subscription status, and are required in order to successfully play the Patreon versions.

Since the game was shared without those files and without removing some other user-specific data, it is both unplayable for most users here and provides any curious developers with enough information to track down and ban the account of the person who shared it.

Edit: Also, it isn't worth finding ways to bypass the protections because the developers have repeatedly demonstrated that if we do, they'll just drop everything and focus on updating the protections rather than adding new content for the next build. And since the UE5 version uses very similar protections to the UE4 version, that still applies for both.

Although I do not believe that the developers pay much attention to the u4 version, since this version has already been practically abandoned. Currently they are only prioritizing all their resources in the current u5 version, if this were the version that was wanted to obtain there I think there would be many complications, but since the version that is wanted is the latest version of u4, I see fewer complications when it comes to modeling or creating a crack for that version of the game.

The problem is that both UE4 and UE5 use essentially the same protection method. If you bypass protections on UE4, they'll update them for UE5 too. And for what? The final version of an abandoned branch that has so little in the way of changes compared to what we already had that they didn't even bother to give people a changelog for it.

You have a good point, but to be honest it's a bit frustrating that they created a version with exclusive content and another one without (referring to the u4 versions). If only they didn't put cosmetic content in a single version and both versions had the same thing. I think the Patreon version should only have the most recent updates that are still in development and may have bugs and the Steam version should have less frequent updates but are more stable.

It teaches developers that they might as well give Patreon subscribers their own exclusives, because the developers are going to get people calling them all sorts of creative insults just for having a Patreon at all. There are pages and pages of arguments in this thread over that exact approach for UE5, from the first few versions where there were no exclusives at all.

I am getting real tired of UE5's incredible instability. I can run whatever game I want on ultra even if it came out yesterday, unless it runs on UE5. Anyone know a fix for this?

Sadly the guy who uploaded this version didn't know you shouldn't upload the patreon because it will never be playable for a number of reasons that have been posted above.

You need "old cracked" (Steam version)... Uncracked means uncracked = useless.
