No, download launcher, download game (0.2.1) and you can play, no patreon account is needed.

0.2.1 is the hotfix that restored the naga fuck scene they couldn't have fixed in time for 0.2.0.

Ah, alright, would you be so nice and tell me where to get it? All I can see is 0.2.0 on f95, when I tried to use the launcher and login to patreon I had a Version check error, that I was unable to contact the Carnal Instinct Server.
the game worked for me for a few minutes but now i have the same problem
I mean, I got it from Patreon. Can't speak for the launcher here, I haven't looked into that yet.
Edit: Looks like they've updated the launcher to fix some of the issues it had, like dropping a shortcut that led to the wrong place.
