And yes, they tossed out the initial attempt and started from scratch in UE5. But that was also several years (and multiple major updates) in the past.

Gold economy isn't that complex. Implement a few merchants and some useful consumables (arrows and health/mana potions, for example) and there will at least be something to spend it on. Maybe toss a cosmetic item or two into merchant inventories for player to buy. Then set up a timer so the inventories reset after a while. In UE4 they were also creating a money sink in the form of the player camp. It would take all of one update for them to implement something similar here.

There's not really any reason it can't have been done by now, except that the devs haven't bothered with it because they're focusing on other things instead.

The developers for this game pack their changelogs with as many things as possible to make them look busier than they are, including listing fixes for bugs that they created and then fixed in the same release. If the changelog doesn't have vore, they didn't add vore. There is a roadmap linked in OP, along with multiple other sources of information about the game. If you have questions about future development of a game and the resources in OP don't answer it, you won't get an answer by spamming the thread with your question.

Instead, you'll need to ask the developers. And they don't post here anymore.

There's an archery merchant that sells two or three different kinds of arrows in a port town in the southern region of the map and the cat-bar-girl-person right after you leave the prologue sells health and stamina potions as well as two different cosmetics, one of which has four different variants.

There are two merchants. One for a shields and one for bow and arrows. This one for the arrows is more close to the dock.

guys can someone explain to me what happen to the game? i just download the latest version of the game and played the prologue still haven't gotten into the main game but it doesn't feel like the same game anymore because when i played the game like 2 years ago i remember the MC spawned in the city Sabu with tones of other npcs and i was able to chose appearances for my character but now i can't or at least not yet so can you you guys tell me when would i able to chose appearances for my character? Thank you.
