This is like the 3rd time you ask for this "mirror", there is no mirror in the 2nd floor. I believe you're referring to the "Cabinet of Curiosities" window, since you also mentioned the brown spot, which is also outside the science room.
This window can only appear after you get the secret key from the doll in the handicraft room. The window is right beside the ghost girl that talks about her sap girl friend.
The only way for you to open it is to get the secret key first, so yeah, read the guide in page 13. I think there are others here that discuss on how to get the 2nd floor rumor too, so check the previous pages on this thread if you're still stuck.

Ehmm... I'm not sure what the cause is? The window should appear there once you got the secret key...
Maybe it's a save file or sequence issue, try to play around a little more and see if there's any difference.
Otherwise, maybe restart the puzzle by loading into an older save file and do the sequence again.
Here's hoping anyway...
The window appears regardless of if you have the key, right after the conversation with kinko (fox oneesan best girl)

Anyone have a full-save? I've been playing this for like 2 hours trying to figure shit out, but I just can't be ass'd to waste more time on this game.
Love people complaining about a game while there's a whole fucking guide and they just want an excuse because they're lazy

I'm not going to sugarcoat or deny it.
I just asked for a full save like any other lazy ass on this forum. Don't even try to patronize me when I'm not going to feel guilty over it.
That aside...just because there is a guide on this game, doesn't fix or make the game fucking enjoyable.
I'd rather spend time on enjoyable games then waste time on something that's not enjoyable.
And so far...this game has a great concept, has great CG's, but the gameplay is fucking horrendous.
So is it that bad that I ask for a full save just to avoid the horrendous gameplay?
So, with games more enjoyable you're referring to something like.. tetris ig? because it seems like that's the type of game you like.
Now, the gameplay being enjoyable is entirely subjective and I couldn't care less about something like patronizing you.
I simply think it's funny that the entire reason you're asking for a full save in the first place, is because you're too lazy to read a guide which would've solved your problems in 2 minutes. Nah, that would be too easy. It's smarter to just complain about a game. Insane logic mate.
To play the devil's advocate, even I was also too lazy playing the game without a guide for the first time, wasting hours just randomly interacting with everything just for a chance to progress. The thing is, the second floor is incredibly complicated without a guide, but thankfully I didn't succumb to the laziness and go for the full save, that would ruin the whole game as this game is so story centric, even the recollection room warns you that it contains major spoilers when entering it.
So yeah, either you ruin the greatness of the story or you put up with laziness so the end parts can be more enjoyable, fortunately I chose the latter.
Ironically, the full save is also located in the Japanese website guide if you actually read it lol
In any case, here's the full save link from the website, although the names are stuck in Japanese since you need to play the game in English for everything to be set in English...

How do people even figure out the 2nd floor "rumor" secret without any guides?
On the 3rd floor, the secret is pretty self explanatory and quite easy with some trial and error, but on the 2nd floor I wouldn't figure it out by myself without any guide, like I have totally 0 clue even after buying the rumor from the token exchange ghost. Did I miss a piece of dialogue or something? So far the game has been a pretty straightforward from simply using the "think" option provided, but not this one.

and based on what I can gleam from google translating the stuff in the follower progress section, it's gonna be a Battle Fuck style game where you battle the heroines from this game. he also says he plans to distribute it FOR FREE THIS MAY ON CI-ENI can't believe it... Just as I saw this, then curiously checked the creator's latest ci-en page and saw "A sequel game under construction" just a few days ago!

AHHHHHHH the mini-game Round Porter in the casino is super hard!!!!!! What the hell?! This is insanity! The people who made that mini game definitely didn't try it out themselves! This is insanely hard man, the other two from floor 3 and 2 wasn't hard at all but this?!

My game literally broke for some reason, and the balls are transparent, making it even more impossible to do it legitimately, so I just cheated.
Also he didnt mention it in his post, but your characters will become phased after doing it. To fix it, simply re-enter the porter, press X once so you'll remove your permanent phase, and intentionally die. After that quit the porter game normally and you'll return to normal.
