Those were usually Renpy games and afaik not linked in the OP but posted by compromised accounts in the thread.
I don't really want to download an abandoned game just to verify but I'd be surprised if this suddenly contained a virus considering how long it's been since the last update.

in the past the download for this game had been replaced by a download of a trojan horse.
