I've favourited an incomplete fanfic on fanfiction.net and it got an update and an entire new chapter literally 10 years later.
I dont know if it has been mentioned, but I have found the fix for the bug that occurs when you try to Network via phone.

shame that this was abandoned. it was a really cool concept.
Don't get your hopes up.... I've wanted to finish this game off for years!
I've finally got time in my life work on Casting Director properly. I expect it will be at least a month before I have something meaningful to say but so far, I have the project loaded, working and in a format that it's bearable to work on.
Some of the code is very messy and quite hard to work out whats going on, so as I touch something, I'm trying to leave it in a better place for when I come back to it. Naturally, that will mean things will be slow while I get up to speed.
I'm treating Old Dirty Dogs version as Act 1. I've got Act 2 pretty much planned out. I want to continue with the quests that ODD left unfinished, there are some good breadcrumbs that I've used as a starting point.
The open quests are:
The Book of Daniel
Holes
Heaven Can Wait
A Man and a Woman
The first 3 quests are planned out fully, I'm just not sure on what to do with Molly (A Man and a Woman) yet. It'll come.
Some playtesters would be a big help when the time is right. Please drop me a message if you're interested.

Okay! Act 2 will be split into 2 parts. Part 1 will have roughly 30 new events.
In act 2 we're going to see:
- Molly get closer to the MC
- Kalani find her faith
- Kevin be useful to the MC, and being made to eat shit in return
- Kayla get some revenge for all the times the MC took advantage
- And an explosive ending that I'm looking forward to writing!

There will be branching but concluding the story is the number one priority. I would rather see the game complete than give myself a mass of branches that it becomes too daunting of a task to work on.
