Hello! As promised, here is a new update regarding my upcoming side project - Rebel Duet - which is set to have its 0.1 version released later next month.

Essentially, Rebel Duet is a story about the protagonist (selectable female or male) being summoned into a fantasy world by a succubus, to become her bodyguard and sexual partner. The story takes place primarily from a first-person perspective, and deals with darker subject matter than Casual Desires.

One new feature unique to Rebel Duet is an in-game glossary. As the player progresses through the story, new terms and concepts will unlock, providing extra details about this mysterious world they now inhabit. Later on, this will also function as a handbook, which the player can use to consult clues they've gathered regarding a mystery.

As the player trains their succubus companion at night, they will level up various sexual skills, which will in turn unlock new sex positions and sexual acts. This training feature, as well as the player's choices during the story, will have an impact on the nature of their relationship. Rebel Duet can be a pure, vanilla love story, or it can involve complete and total corruption, in which the heroine embraces her succubus nature and becomes a slut of the highest degree. That choice will, of course, be yours to make.

Similar to Casual Desires, a statistics menu will contain sexual information (i.e. number of sexual partners) for both the protagonist and the heroine. A considerable amount of time was also spent creating a world map, which I felt was essential to making the setting believable. A brand-new soundtrack, as well as immersive sound effects, were also carefully selected.

As this is a side project, Casual Desires will continue to be released at the same pace as usual. All Patrons will receive benefits for both Casual Desires and Rebel Duet at no added cost.

I will never understand why developers don't focus on just one game for the time being.
It's okay if he needs to distract himself by working on a second game, but even then I'd personally favor if he'd just not release it until the first game is complete.
That way there also wouldn't be delays all the time, keep in mind I am not talking about this game specifically, just the overall trend of developers doing this.

If developer doesn't have both huge and loyal fanbase, the pause between completing one game and having something to show of another might hurt their income.
I'm not saying that it is the cause here.

I think that they have/get a lot of ideas during the development of one game but cant put them into said game because it does not fit. "deals with darker subject matter than Casual Desires."
So instead of letting all the creativity go to waste they let it flow into a second game.

or

they are starting to get stuck and want to take their minds of the first game to unwind. get some fresh air so to say. my guess is that if you work on the same few characters and story for months and years you kinda get sick of them. well if you dont take a break that is.

(or just greed and milking as many people as possible)

While this chapter's release took quite a bit longer than originally anticipated, I hope its massive size (being the game's largest chapter to date in terms of image count), as well its heavy focus on sexual content, will have made the chapter a fun experience for everyone.

In terms of full sex scenes, this chapter includes:
