Probably that they had too many systems, and it could be confusing at first. If I had to guess. I liked the systems, but you were thrown a lot of them very early on. Plus, getting around was a hassle, the improved way to get around is a lot better to me.

I hope the developer keeps it up this time, I enjoyed the game I played

Seeing as you have lesdom and lesbian voyeur planned,are lesbian (and others kinks)scenes forced or avoidable? For example, seeing the harem tag, is it going to be the typical polyamorous relationship where everyone fucks everyone? can that be avoided by avoiding certain characters,or maybe it will depend on the player's choices?

Same question about turn based combat, many don't like it, will they be mandatory or can they be skipped?

Damn, turns out Koikatsu renders can actually look really fuckin' good if someone knows what they're doing and puts the work in. Who knew? Can't wait for the version that actually has some boning in it.

Huh. I found God and Void interesting, I was looking forward to more. Still, much better to realise you're being too ambitious and scale back rather than just keep excavating an ever-deeper hole. I'll keep an eye on this.

Let the dev try again and learn from their past mistakes. I'm pretty sure it wont be Civ VI, so chill. Mindless fap material can be found on pornhub. idk why you look for a game to play and then expect it to not have gameplay(within reason ofc).

That said, I played the first game and while I found the story to be interesting, it was haphazardly put together with too many systems that were introduced but really did nothing and were left unused. (there were a few bugs too).
Also the story was a bit cryptic and hard to follow so it's no surprise that players who likely have coomer brain couldnt follow along much less figure out the simple command line interface for THE EYE(even though the game literally tells you exactly what to do )

...Anyway lets just hope the pacing will be better this time.

Good luck. I liked the first game despite it's problems and I hope you have more success this time. The first game was very ambitious for a first entry, and there is nothing wrong with trying again.

Aww, I actually liked God and void, altho yes it can be a bit off putting for the general f95 coomer.
Other then the complex mechanics and grand scale of things, I suppose one of the main reasons it didn't gain traction is because sex scenes were removed every update, rather then more being added. Most folks here don't like that kind of thing.
All in all my autistic brain enjoyed the ride and I hope this reboot pops off.

You might not have noticed but we're on a forum, you know - where people discuss and share their opinions. Yea, sounds crazy, doesn't it?
1. "Let the dev(...)" - its not like Im gonna stop him... He can do whatever the fuck he wants, Im just saying its a bad idea which it is, especially for an inexperienced solo dev.
2. Gameplay is often detrimental in porn games and mindless clicking is usually found in various sandboxes, management games etc. VN with decent story/characters/dialogue and some interesting sex scenarios is superior medium for porn imo.
And no, pornhub is not an alternative.
