I must admit, I'm fairly new to this whole VN/gaming stuff and I really want to like this one,
FFS, this must be the first game that I've played from this site in which the main female character isn't a completely lobotomized slut in training,
is treated like a worthless and submissive piece of meat by everyone and their grandfather,
or acting like someone who has spent all of their life under a rock and now sees the actual world for the first time (aye, sweetie, men have penises, women don't; good thing you are now finally eighteen, or twenty-one, depending on your country, its laws and the enforcement of them, and fertile...).
To put a cherry on top of it all, no one is throwing dicks that would put most horses to shame in my face around every corner, so, bonus points right here.
Last but not least: Saints be praised, it has some real nice lesbian action going on, the main reason why I wanted to try out those kind of games in the first place.
Correct me if I am wrong, but from what I have seen in most of the games the whole -lesbian- tag is nothing more but a weak plot excuse to set up threesomes (because every female love interest is bisexual by default and has the hots for the other girl; like IRL, amarite, wink, wink), or to get someone else, in almost all cases the horsie, oops, pardon me, the male of course, in the right mood.
Must be a very new and unique definition of lesbianism going on here, indeed, hmm, let me get my good old dictionary real quick and take a look, just to be sure...
So, what's not to like?
That whole “girlfriend open relationship situation” rubbed me the wrong way.
I know, I know, in the end it is just porn, but come on, that visit and all of the interactions at home felt so forced to steer you in that certain direction, that it almost ruined the fun for me, because silly old fashioned me really tried to stay faithful here.
The main character witnessed first hand how that concept backfired between the sister and her girlfriend,
sooo, YOLO, that sounds like a mighty fine idea, oh, and why don't you send over your beloved gal to them right now, just for a little test drive, maybe and just maybe, if you play nice enough, they would even let you watch the main event for free?
Huh, don't tell me you are not quite a fan of that?!
Well, better get over it, bonbon, it's either an open relationship or a breakup for you.
Maybe I'm just overthinking this too much, everyone has their own kinks, no shaming from my side here, but I like to immerse myself and use my imagination when I play, otherwise I could just watch regular boring porn.
Therefore this was just one major turn off because that swinging and sharing stuff is defiantly not my cup of tea at all, which is kinda sad, I liked the character of the girlfriend somehow.
Apologies for the rant, don't want to be rude to the developer(s) or something.
Like in any other form of art, don't let others dictate too much what should be in- or excluded in it.
All generosities, kind words and donations aside, be honest, as artists you want something out of your work and invested time, just as it should be.
Believe me, I'm quite aware of this and it is sometimes such a fine line: some will love your work, others will hate your guts for it, but in the end is your decision and yours alone to transform your ideas from visions to reality.
The rest of us little pervs here are all just along for the ride and I really hope that this will keep being a good one.
Come to think of it, all it took was to wipe out all men in this game here (despite the popular believes, I do not hate them, I just don't wanna fuck them...) LOL.
I better show myself out now, before someone rallies the angry townsfolk and hands out torches and rakes and hoes, well, can't for sure keep those just laying around and not abuse them.
PS.: If someone could suggest, or just point me in the direction of other games like this one, it really would be appreciated, because the tags on this site are not helpful at all IMHO and are in need of some serious rework (the lesbian tag is one thing, don't get me started on the shitshows that came along with the female protagonist tag; like I said, different kinks and all, but bloody hell...).
