Good point, but I don't think it's such a big problem if Jaye (or any other LI for that matter) is not a virgin. Like, chances of you meeting a girl in real life that's a virgin past the legal or consensual age are slim.
Still for me, no matter what, Jaye is the best girl.

Instead personally it changes, I feel it as moral blackmail. If Jaye has waited five years for us and if Mallory has never been able to get over her intimacy issues, turning back on them is cruel. If instead they were 'normal' situations, the choice would be more freeGood point, but I don't think it's such a big problem if Jaye (or any other LI for that matter) is not a virgin. Well, what if Mallory never met the MC? Let's say that James and Sarah never passed away and MC never returned? Their past is something that cannot be defined or influenced by the MC.
As for what happens in the story, we at least have choices and in the end you'll have to make a choice. Kentyrr and Stone Fox Studios (Stoya) at least give us that option. If you don't like Jaye, you can still be with Mallory and that's fine and the other way around.
It's like saying that it's cruel rejecting Jill in BaDIK because she's a virgin and saved herself for someone special (a.k.a the MC) and it's morally damaging to reject her.

For me it is. I gave examples on this game but of course it also applies to others. If Jaye has such a realistically unbelievable devotion to you, it becomes difficult then to choose freely

Jaye's affection for the MC was defined as early as the Prologue though and it's something that's a part of the story (her even going as far as to punch that girl in the throat for speaking ill of the MC). Both Jaye and Mallory are almost complete opposites in personality and it's a nice contrast that the devs came up with.
I agree though, making a choice is difficult, but you have to go with your heart and feel more affectionate towards. 99 times out of 100, I'd probably go with Jaye. I feel she's the better fit and that "special" one for the MC. That's not a knock on Mallory, I've said it many times - if Mallory was a LI in another game, she'd probably be the best LI. Her only fault was that she happened to be in the same game as the Goddess.
It's also the same thing with Triss and Yennefer. Yen probably feels like the right and canon choice, but on most of my saves, I went with Triss. I've felt a stronger connection and more affection to Triss and what she was as a person. Yen is still an amazingly written character, but for me - Triss is simply better.

But I didn't make it about realism, reality is boring, nobody cares about a realistic story.
But that practically all developers take this comforting route, with a world of virgin or revived LIs from long abstinence, so as not to disturb the sleep of very tall children
In Jaye's case, it was enough if she said nothing, no big story, that was enough (Tara does not change anything)

Yes, i agree on that. I believe most of the time only the Mom's in this AVN's are not virgins, because reasons. But yeah, i guess there is either the guys with the deflowering kink or insecure people.
Tara "only" delivers experience and distraction, well yes technically she might have deflowered Jaye, but yeah, that has propably her dildo done long before. Hasn't Alex took her V-card too? i think i remember she said something before they intercoursed the night before he vanished.

If you maxed her points in the prologue you left such an impression on her that subconsciously she started comparing other guys to you, and that made her lose any interest in them. Besides in all that time she had Tara to relieve her of all sexual frustration anyway.
You raise a valid general problem common to most AVNs, just on the wrong game cause here both girls have a reasonable back-story to justify it and are still very young to boot (what are they, 23 now?).

The distinction about Jaye seems weak to me. If no one was up to MC's standards, it doesn't seem that far off to say that in fact she waited for him. A beautiful 18-19 year old girl.. What she did or didn't do with Tara is irrelevant.
Mallory's situation is more extreme, but it was enough to move on from the fact that she had had bad experiences and not that she too was completely stuck until she randomly met him, upset by a kiss or a caress
The motivation is always the same, then it can also be a solution that pleases, and certainly avoids problems for the developers. But there isn't much in the way of adulting (everyone discovers porn well before the age.... )
