I don't use these mods, so I could be wrong, but I would assume it's not impossible to achieve the Jaye/Mal ending. I assume the mod doesn't remove any options, it just tells you what the modder suggests is the "best" option, however that will be the "best" option in the modder's opinion, and that isn't really valid if there are multiple paths, where you will need to select different options to achieve different outcomes.
This is where Sancho was king. He actually told you what decisions led too etc and what decisions to take to get on certain paths. No opinion, just facts and helpful info.

That's most likely the case, but I have seen one instance before where a mod broke the script a bit. It was quickly fixed, but it can happen.

Yeah, when I used mods previously, it was always Sancho that I'd go for. I really dislike how most modders seem to go with "good choice" or "bad choice", it's much better if they tell you the repercussions and let you make up your own mind. Now, I only use URM and the universal choice descriptor to make that info quick and easy to see. They can't tell you what path a choice helps towards or whether it leads to a sex scene etc., unless that info is in the code for the choice, but it's much better and doesn't alter the script, so those issues mods can sometimes cause are avoided.

11 months...
They want to deliver the best possible epilogue, can you blame them? They also want to make sure there are no hidden bugs or loose ends to the story and its multiple paths...
What's a few more days of waiting when you've already waited several months?
Get a grip. The devs don't owe you anything, you're not paying for playing these games around here...

eh, I supported them on Steam. But I also am being patient. Testing/debugging is a process. I'm good with waiting a few more days to not break saves.

Where is everyone getting this information? I'm seeing nothing about a postponement.
From Patreon and Discord...but not about a postponement, but just that they are working on the RC which would likely follow release shortly.

This is just a quick note to let everyone know the final content update for Chasing Sunsets is in active beta with general release anticipated during the week of July 14.
And I also posted this a few pages back.

Quick Dev Update - Beta 3 has been scrubbed and I have three variable bugs to fix tomorrow. Sound, dialogue, and visual effects finalization is proceeding quickly. In the past few days, the phone widget has undergone an upgrade so it's much easier to tell who is speaking and things like phone-related choices can be executed within the interface. This will be retrofitted into prior chapters after Chapter 10 has launched as well. Some of the pathing has been reworked over the past couple of days in both minor and major ways. Some scenes have been moved around to break up areas that felt a little too linear. Additionally, a few additional scenes have been added toward the end. These are largely "clean up" scenes where we realized we had a loose end that could be tied up neatly at the cost of comparatively few renders. In some cases, paths have been tweaked to give them content that would originally only been visible on a different path. Two of the Peanut Gallery images were removed over copyright concerns (Erica wearing a Nirvana shirt) and replaced with alternates from Kentyrr's Tara stash. Several scenes have also been extended or augmented to better capture the personalities of the characters involved.

Our fourth beta will likely go out later tomorrow or early Sunday and will be our release candidate. Thanks again for your patience while we stitch the last bits together.

I miss Sancho so damn much. His mods were the best. I'd sometimes download and play a game I was on the fence about trying just because I saw it had a Sancho mod.

As you say, especially useful mods in games like this one with multiple diverging paths, because often there isn't just one right choice.

was the best modder on the site hands down. I've yet to find one with features like his.
