Couldn't finish it up this week. This is kinda why I didn't want to make guesses as to when i'll be done. I haven't been doing this long enough to guess my own workflow. anyways, i'm literally working on the last scene of the update and finishing up the script. I'm giving another guess that it should be out by next week.

damn, that's great seeing the positivity.

to put this update into perspective. prologe was 117 images (yeah i know, not very creative directory name lol)


chapter 1 was 97 images (but it did come very soon after prologue so the wait wasn't too long)


chapter 2 is going to be bigger then prologue and chapter 1 combined and then some.
ignore the huge size. They haven't been compressed like the first 2. it won't break 100MB after conversion probably. already 277 images and i've still got a few more. my goal was 200 images for this update because i wanted it to be bigger then chapter 1 and things just got out of hand.

I blame the new girl! she took a 122 images for her introduction into the story.

I found the problem with the incest patch. You're supposed to name the file "zzzzz.rpy" not "ZZZZZ.rpy".

That's it. Just use 5 lowercase z's instead of 5 uppercase z's. And I used the version of the patch on the front page of this thread. Let me know if it works for you.

Mine is named patch.rpy which is what I rename most incest files even more so if the file is a loose .rpy file uploaded to F95. The problem isn't with a high capped Z or lowercase z it has to do with F95 adding numbers and other shit in front of a files name. It only happens when the file is uploaded as a loose file where you have to right click the file and then select save link as. If the file was uploaded into a zip/rar file you'll never have a problem unless the file is actually messed up.

I noticed that the name was messed up, so I truncated it and tried ZZZZZ, that didn't work. it needed to be lowercase for me.

Why don't you use the quote or reply feature when responding to posts?

Also is patch.rpy something that renpy is built to always check for?

Pinging does the same thing.

When the game loads up it scans all files .RPA/.RPY loose files or extracted .RPY files and if there is an major error it'll let you know then. Unless it states somewhere in one of the script files to search for a specific file then it should work if you rename it patch.rpy.

Did find a bug and fixed it. There is another visual bug that will take 2 or 3 days to fix, but I figured that wasn't enough reason to hold off on release. I could just patch it in later.

Well, now that it's here. At least let me know what you guys think here or in the reviews. Hopefully I turned the spice up enough. I said they game wasn't gonna be a slow burn like the others and I hope I delivered.
