Good question, the truth is that I have planned that the next update, to be more focused on the story, there will probably be "scenes" but if there are, they will be without animation due to lack of time.

This game needs a better proofreader. That would at least make it readable.

I'm guessing this hasn't been worked on since it's been over a year with nothing new posted. Also patreon is "under review" and whatever that could mean for the dev. Feeling that the abandon tag is just around the corner.
Hopefully I'm wrong as I have been keeping an eye on this one as well.
