Dev Update #29
Okay, this week has been a render week. A lot done on that front. Multiple environments as well to add to the mix. So now, we are up to 373, where 367 of those are now done and through post work. Been doing post work all day today for maybe the last 7 hours. I think I'm going bug eyed. I will say though, so far I am really happy with the look of everything. I found i hit a few snags on the last update where I ended up redoing scenes. Not this time.
As for animations that was pretty light this week. I fixed up two and rendered out a brand new one bringing the total to 22.
I was going to tackle more writing today but felt i was lagging behind on the post work, so that I will hit up again tomorrow. I think in a couple weeks I should have a much clearer idea on timeline for release. For now it is still a bit early.
Oh, and like last week where i posted a fun render I have another that was done that was shared around discord. This image is a bit silly because I decided to let it run overnight and it somehow hit 1 million iterations... That doesn't really matter because you honestly wouldn't be able to tell the difference between 30k and 1 million. It was just very funny to wake up too and see. Enjoy that 4k goodness

just finished last update.
+ main advantage of game is renders and animation. very good. up with Milfy city or Midnight paradise
+/- characters . Voctoria , Chandra, Shanlon are pretty good.
- story and setting not for me .

Some of the games being mentioned are good "porn" games (BaDIK my favorite of that type). But CoBD is not simply a porn game, it's an adult VN. And I don't say that to sound pretentious. It's just the truth. The game is more than just sex. You could remove the sex completely and you are still left with a truely compelling VN. If you value an excellent story combined with great characters, visuals, atmosphere, music, & animations then I don't see how anyone could not rank CoBD among the best.
I'll make a film analogy. Most, not all, but most games on this site fall into the following categories; Uwe Boll tier garbage, Tommy Wiseau tier "it's so bad, I can't stop looking" disasters, Lloyd Kaufman tier sleaze, and Michael Bay/JJ Abrams tier mindless entertainment. Nothing wrong with that, sometimes you just want to turn your brain off and be entertained.
Philly Games is the John Ford/Scorcese/Coppola of this medium.

If Philly is the Scorcese/JohnFord/Coppola of this medium, Dr Pinkcakes without a doubt is the Leon/Corbucci/Tarantino of this medium. His writing and set up more closely resemble that of a show scrip than any other. Being a Dik coming out in seasons with each season having an arc for each character with their own developments is not only unheard of, its beyond innovating. Just like leone/corbucci/tarantino he is driving the medium foward
