So that's part of the animation upgrades Philly talked about in his dev update. Look at the flesh of those buttcheeks bouncing! I can't wait to see what else he has in store for us.

The docs Victoria sends to the MC tell us that Henry was 19 in 2016, in 2029 he entered the first gen augment program. Victoria entered the second gen program as a teen, at least 13yrs old. The first gen program was ended after the Treaty of Hiroshima was signed, but no date is given for that. Let's assume the second gen program was started very soon after the first ended. The last date given in those docs is Sept. 2029 when Henry was deployed to Shenyang. So let's assume that treaty was signed no earlier than 2030 and the second gen program begins that same year. That means when our story begins in 2042 Victoria is at least 24-25yrs old (Henry is 44-45).

... and around 30 at most.

Any idea for the release date?

It's too early to know a date, we can only guess at this point. Let's break it down again, this time with render & animation counts.

• Chapter 1 (578 renders, 34 animations) - Feb 15
  • 63d
• Chapter 2 (703 renders, 28 animations) - April 19
  • 60d
• Chapter 3 (609 renders, 31 animations) - June 18
  • 95d
• Chapter 4 (898 renders, 41 animations) - Sept 21
  • 82d
• Chapter 5 (628 renders, 30 animations) - Dec 12
  • 100d
• Chapter 6 (911 renders, 50 animations) - Mar 21

As of the last dev update, which was this past Saturday (May 2nd), almost 42 days had passed since Philly released Chapter 6. 380 renders & 10 animations (w/ another 5 ready to go) had been created. Going by those numbers it seems he's at the halfway point of development (as Aristos said), at least as far as the visuals go. Another 42 days puts us at June 13th with a possible 760 renders and 30 animations. Considering how excited he's been over his new animations I wouldn't be surprised if there are a few more than 30. Then there's what we don't know; how much story, dialogue, & code are left to write, music selection, and the final stages of development (additional writing & coding, build, proofreading, testing, corrections, etc.).

So all of that was a really long, detailed way for me to say... Late June (possibly very early July) is most likely when Chapter 7 will be released. And no one should ever whine over the "long wait" between releases (not talking about you, DH, speaking in general terms). How many other devs are this consistently stellar with the amount & quality of content? You can count them all on one hand... after reaching under the deck of a running lawnmower.

Dev Update #44
Sorry for the delay on the update. The stream kind of took up most of the night last night. Three hours, but it was a load of fun and by the reception it sounds like we will have to do that again. I am currently uploading it to youtube and will make another post for it. It took far longer than I expected to process the video for youtube and had a ton of issues with it so I had to nix the video, luckily the audio is fine and honestly the video was just a repeating loop non-stop so not much of a loss there, I just replaced it with a placeholder for youtube.
I think a big take away for many is on the stream I did state one pretty important thing. From this point on I am now officially full time on the game development. How that will play out I have no idea. It's scary and exciting all at the same time! Again, thank you guys for helping me hit the point where this is possible.
Now for an update on the game.
450 renders done through post. That number will start increases quicker and quicker now that I am done with a whole series of animations. Speaking of, there are now 28 animations complete. To go along with that I have been steadily writing as well knocking out a few more scenes.
Again, when the stream is uploaded and processed on youtube I will supply that link for you guys.
