I followed the WT again and again but still can't get vic's scene,the "Move closer"options never appeared.I just ran out of ideas.Can someone tell me the console code to set the variables right to trigger this??

I think you must have some "Victoria 4 Score" to unlock one scene you wish. I will upload my save game for you. Extract and write it on save folder. You will find my save game on the quick save tier. Enjoy!
PS: I named my MC as "Aiden Collins". If you wish to change his name, I recommend use Renpy Save Editor or call me to change the name you want.

I'm a little confused about the "replay checklist", even after reading this:

But then there is the comment about "not fully backwards compatible". Does that mean "if you just upgraded to Book 1 (which is the version that has this feature), there may be times when you DID do/find all paths (sexual activities), but the checkmarks are not properly shown"?
If so, can I get to those paths (activities) from the gallery replay, and only the checkmarks are not correct? Or do I still have to replay to "re-earn" them in the gallery?

Here's what I take from that:
If when you played the scene during the game you encountered a certain path (sexual activity), then it will be shown indicated as a purple check mark, and you can encounter that again from the gallery replay. A missing check mark basically means you have to load some save, figure out the "path" that includes that activity, then it will show as "checked" and you can play it from the gallery.

Sonja won't be the one to die.
Stella's death in DA worked so well because no one saw it coming and she had a thing going with the MC, surely killing off a potential lover wouldn't happen and then BAM headshot bitches. Dragon wins.
Sonja is far too obvious and the player has no emotional attachment.
I know who i'd kill off in order to make 2 people who hate each work together to stop a bigger bad but quite a few people here wouldn't like it.
Chandra gots to die.
If someone does have to die to move the narrative I just don't think Sonja is a big enough impact. It needs to be someone the MC is close to and currently fucking to move it on like they did in DA.
The only one close enough but not tied to the main plotline directly is Chandra. Her death would shock and be a bit enough point to have an impact on main story characters.
Stella's death in DA worked so well because no one saw it coming and she had a thing going with the MC, surely killing off a potential lover wouldn't happen and then BAM headshot bitches. Dragon wins.

But who would kill Chandra? The Redmoon soldier already got out of their way to save Ellen because thier revenge is only against Henry, so i don't see them doing it. Also doubt Meredith would kill Chandra as much as she annoys her.
Gloria going insane from her powers and turning into a menace? That could maybe unit Jake and Meridith...
But Chandra isn't even close to the place where all the forces are converging right now.

Firearms need a license and membership to a gun club or armed forces.
Basically if you want a gun for home protection you will be laughed at and handed a small stick instead.
Anybody carrying a firearm is fucked. Even license holders can't openly carry them.

God, I remember how shocked I was when that scene happened!
But that shows the skill of this creator. It didn't feel needless and like it was just there for shock value. It had a purpose in the story, that was tragic but motivating.
In some genres, I don't mind intense, violent scenes, or character death. In these games, I usually hate them, but I think it's more about how they're written and presented, than anything else. After all, I'm playing these games, not just for a humor-filled jack-off, but because I like the stories and how serious some are. And that means I shouldn't see them as "porn" for a genre, but for what they are, with strong sexual elements.
Seeing them like that, obviously what happened to Stella upset me, but it had purpose.
Other games Like Acting Lessons that include death, seem to do it wrong Namely, I think DA worked to portray something you couldn't have prevented/someone you couldn't have saved, where as AL, despite otherwise great writing and a compelling and moving story, played out that scene as if it was unpreventable, or as if you couldn't have saved them both, forcing you to deal with one dying, when in all honesty, I don't think the game needed that twist, and I think someone could have saved both, or at least tried too....
Ugh, that scene stills gets to me, hard. Didn't mean to ramble.
Now, all that said, I'm HOPING there won't be a death in this game. The creator could pull one off, and it would work for the story... but at some point, it looks like a creator's hallmark to just kill someone off, all because the "gritty, realistic" atmosphere seems to call for someone to die to advance the plot.

On what basis? Tbh it's a terrible theory apart from her being Merideth's daughter would be the only reason for some harm to come to her but apart from that, she's nowhere near any of the on-going action, right now out of all the cast I'd say she is the safest.

So hey, been away for a while. I remember this game being on version 0.7.0 2 weeks ago or something? Has the game got a new update or just fixing minor bugs etc.? Should I download it again or what?
