This is the end, there are many paths one can take, to the point that someone playing in a specific way might lament that one update didnt have much content, I am fairly certain he wants to include a satisfying or meaty ending regardless of your choices, not to upstage any girl, so a longer release schedule is understandable.

But if he wants to up the game, I hope he makes up for it by expanding into a team.
