So i found another bug in my playthrough...

Date: Wednesday, August 14

met up with the cheerleaders and chose the talk with Nikki option. On the page you choose where you come there are five errors.

(bellow is the paragraph/couple of sentences before the errors then the spoiler is the error as it reads to me.)

That was how the page looked you can see that it appears that some of the text looks like code fragments like [ e_fate != "n">>i ] And it appears that the break comes twice with the word kyle as you can see the "e" is coming after the code fragment and the errors.

I tried to explain this as best I could and to provide text before each error so you could find it in the file using the search function. hope this helps you find the bug.

I'm not sure if this is accurate or just me misremembering past versions of the game. But it seems like the early (first two weeks) of the game has changes with slightly more options. I am going to see if I can explore these changes and find any bugs as I think I ran into another. The party with Brittney post titus if you are become a thrall didn't seem to trigger. not sure why. Could be I just missed something / made the wrong choice. I think the game's complexity is making it harder and harder to get desired results from memory of past playthroughs and the more complex a game gets the easier a bug can slip through the cracks.

I am going to use the cheat option so I don't have to build my character as I explore. Normally I just give myself extra stats. And I am going to use the mod as it reveals the bonuses and variables with a choice and see if i can find any bugs. Not going to use the time travel as that will just create too many issues for bugs. But seeing variables with choices will help me notice issues vs trying to see things in the code.

Are you talking about the sorority party on Thursday? You are right to assume it is about choice and not a bug. Not exactly sure on everything but the party requires that you meet Lexi, are an ally of Barberry or are Brittney lover.

Looks like Mrs. Haywood can be inappropriately set as a harem member when seducing the bride & bride's mother.

But so does the one based on having a stat > 15, when she isn't there. And WeddingStartMorning300aStart7Bride2SeduceBothWomen1Purple1Bride2 sets mm_harem to true on all of its choices, regardless of whether she's actually there and involved or not.

Nothing in that passage itself seems to require her presence, so I think the problem is - if you really want mm_harem to be set here generally - to set it earlier on, when she is actually helping the player succeed in the mass seduction effort.

It was an error where basically the if statement was supposed to say "<<if $kyle_fate != 'n'>>" but an error made that whole section turn into "<<if $kyl<<if $kyle_fate != 'n'>>e_fate != 'n'>>". But it's fixed in the patron release now.

Are you talking about the sorority party on Thursday? You are right to assume it is about choice and not a bug. Not exactly sure on everything but the party requires that you meet Lexi, are an ally of Barberry or are Brittney lover.

Yes, that is the party.

I saved Barberry during the Titus mission, became a thrall (screwing up the process), met lexi when she came to a class with a message. And then the party never triggered. All those should have [at least in the past] gotten me an invite to the party. As I recall Barberry herself tells you to go.

This game has a lot of reading but it actually has a decent story. The game has so many characters that there is bound to be overlap with other games. The games has over 115 reviews with a near perfect score. You don't get this kind of rating without it being a high quality product.

It is the most complex VN I have ever seen where choice abound, they matter, you can lose. There is no grinding at all. No event hunting where you click on every "location" trying to find content. Your choice but if over a hundred people give this game a near perfect score that should tell you that the game is different from other games on the sight and worth giving the game a try.

Based on what you said here, Barberry should invite you on Thursday, Late Evening, so you might have found a bug. Check the console for the appropriate variables, barb_ally and barb_thrall I think, and see if they are true. I've always helped Sydney contain when I do it for the stats.

Possible bug.

Time: Late Morning
Date: Sunday, August 4

You meet up with Brittney and her family for an afternoon event. Either go to the movie with the Maywoods or the park with or without Monica.

If you choose to go to the park with Monica or without Monica it leads to the same result when you actually reach the park.

The text talks about how it is a good thing Monica isn't with you, which seem counter to the choice of going to meet monica. I don't know if you were never suppose to met Monica at the park because of that actually happens later in the story but this seems wrong because she can join for the movie.

No there's not. I don't believe the names are variables in this game. Except for the Maywood's surname which will change to the MC's surname if you enable incest

Because it's not a sandbox game. It's a story based game that uses variables to tell your unique story. That's kind of the point.

The game is coded the same way, using html, css, javascript and sugarcube macros. But my point is that some scenes can only be accessed by having it enabled, and some some scenes can only be accessed with it disabled.

The game is a true visual novel not a sandbox in concept or design. Most scenes/results can be gotten through different ways. There are only a few very narrow paths to get specific results. Making Jill a spy or becoming Barberry's thrall are two examples. I believe there are two ways to get Jill as a spy and two ways to become Barberry's thrall. Femdom kink is the only event chain with one way to get it and that is accepting the Queen's contract[at least the only one I know of]. I also think the Practical Joke of making Rio think she is dumb is also a one choice event.

The walkthrough is NOT comprehensive it is someone telling you how they got x results. There are multiple ways to control students and faculty. You can do with with multiple different spells but you can also do it with some people without spells at all.

An example is Lydia [store clerk] you can met her at the store on the first day, then meet her at the bar on the first night sleep with her. On the second day you can go to the store before meeting your parents and sneak up behind her strengthening her relationship with her. Her entire relationship can be built without magic.

Sofia [Rio's roommate] Can be met on the first day, on the way to visit monica. You can met her in the Library on the second day by going to the park. And you can she is more than willing to jump your bones a couple of encounters later no magic required. The key with Sofia is to be Fit enough to move the boxes when you meet her on the first day.

I give these two examples to show how the game has diversity of approaches. I am not claiming these two examples are the fastest or best approaches only that they work. Not casting spells is a bad idea because casting spells gives you experience and helps you grow in power, those two examples are not optimal.

The game allows secret mining and subconscious sculpting via orange lights, Purple lights for mind control, personality overrides and green lights can steal someone autonomy via a "devil" contract. Pink lights can cause character to be addicted to you. Brown lights make people into bimbos who grow to trust you in their bimbo state. Blue lights allow you to gather secrets by miniaturizing you. It seems only yellow and red lights have no options to control people but are mainly worth leveling for combat. However both lights can be use to manipulate situations to get girls to strip down a bit.

The whole point I am trying to make is there are almost no results that are narrowly defined and in fact most results can be obtained using multiple different approaches. I am in the habit of restarting the game from the defeat of titus, or the very start every 2nd update. Exploring different options I don't play every option possible as some lead to kinks like sharing I am not into. what it does do is allow me to change things up and enjoy the game. the game has enough content for this to work for me.
