College games predate BaDIK first release, if you like that game that much go to its thread an have fun.
We're here to discuss sex and romance with best girl Chloe.
This game is a complete rip off of BaDIK its laughable to say anything else. This game itself doesnt predate BaDIK obviously because play it for an hour and you see its a knock off version of it.

The connections between the two end with the college setting and focus on frats. They set out to do very different things and at best you can say this one was inspired to use this setting because of college games in the past. I think this game should stopped being compared to it all the time and be accepted by its own merits and what it is trying to do.

I don't know where you have been, but people know what cucks and simps are. Also even disregarding the huge distain people have for those two subsections of people, EVERYONE KNOWS WHAT CHEATING IS.

and this may come as a surprise to you but normal people HATE cheating WAY MORE than probably anyone else on this website. At the very least the "hate-ntr" crowd understands that it's a fetish for some weirdos. but ask anyone if they would get back with their girl after they cheated and they will laugh at you. So don't be surprised that when this game hits mainstream audiences, the emily hate will increase ten-fold with calling her a hoe/slut and the mc a simp/cuck for getting back together with her.

Haven't played the last two updates yet (and looking at the thread and bugs i probably won't for a while) so i still don't know the intricacies of "how" emily cheated.
You miss the whole underlying point that the real majority of those people I'm talking are not going to overly analyze or care about such things nearly to the extent you are within a games' context. Much less go out of their way to camp out and protest in a game's forum thread that their own perception of a character being "ruined" over not being deemed "harem worthy" somehow then makes their fap-to-pixels game unplayable lol.

That kind of hyper sensitive care level in the details of how that higher quality sexual game content gets delivered to them just doesn't exist among "most" people. People that with this game achieving the visibility it already has (and as a result essentially negating any real need to care about that obsessive feedback about such stuff that goes on here), are going to go on and help make this game a lot of money.

I agree the game is a rip-off, but don't agree with the negative connotation that the word rip-off has. Most games here are rip-offs of others, but we play them because they have slightly different models and animations, locations and the story obviously doesn't always pan out the exact same. So we're still playing it while discovering new characters, relations and story beats.

It's not like you're playing DIK for 24 hours a day 7 days in a week. Especially with the release schedule, i'm pretty sure you have enough time to play a game that is an asbolute rip-off of it. So why would it matter? This game is good, BaDIK is good, so why aren't you happy they both exist.

I would even go as far as to say, that rip-off's need to exist. If you're really into the college setting, frat type adult game, a rip-off is a god send. Because after you play through DIK's update that comes out once every three months, now you're left with a hole that needs filling (that's what she said).

This game is a rip-off, and THANK GOD IT IS.

What the hell happened? Did a new writer take over the game? New update is complete 180...... I hope they are alright. You can tell, quality went awful and the game felt rushed

What are you talking about over analyzing? Emily is a character in the story. Her story is literally about her cheating. You don't need to over analyze the game do understand that? People care about story in a game or else they would simply watch normal porn, or 3d animations.

I also don't really get what you're arguing? that the game is going to be a succes? no one is arguing that fact or hating on it for that matter. That normal people are not going to realise that emily is cheating and have their opinions on that? You are delusional to think they won't unless the people playing can't read english.

People are going to play the game, some people will like emily, some will hate her. Which on is the majority? i don't know, if i had to guess, there are more people that dislike cheating than like it. does it matter? not really. But to say that people don't "see" or "realise" ntr, just because they don't know the term "ntr" is wrong. Like i said people know what cheating is, what cucks are and what a simp is. People that dislike those things, will play the main character in such a way that he isn't a simp/cuck.

Are the bugs fixed now?

This post from patreon posted yesterday explains that they are working on bugs and also the game has a new writer, see below quote
Why did the 0.8 release go so wrong?
We believe that the horrible state of the game on release day was not fair to any of you and below our expected standard.
0.8 was in development for 5 weeks. However, only 3 of those weeks were actually used directly on the game. Due to our massive growth, we almost tripled the size of the team, introduced a lot of new processes and revamped all of our organisation of assets and character models. That takes time.

Our only writer also quit unexpectedly, which meant finding a new writer as quickly as we can and altering old scenes to fit the new style. We also bought a render farm, but setup issues cause some renders to turn out grainy, and with thousands of renders being produced, a couple grainy ones are easy to miss.

As for me I'll wait and I have a feeling that something will change , I still hope that the truth is Emily believe that she cheated but not really , maybe the guy put some drugs in her drink or she got raped or maybe not because the guy maybe just made her believe that she cheated to destroy their relationship or atleast give me an option to slaughter the guy if Emily really cheated but its up to the author how he will put a remedy on Emily's storyline and he will earn more support by doing that so until something like that happen I will hold back on playing the game for now because I will not be satisfied playing even if I go with another girl forgetting about Emily knowing that someone NTR'd me

Again, you and the guy's post above this one are missing the whole underlying point.

Like i get it. Such content apparently evokes a very damning and non distanced from the game emotional reaction from you. My point was that level of taking the game serious in a literal sense isn't a majority of the people thing though.

The majority of the people are going to see Emily more so as a pixel on a screen, and found within a game they download with the primary goal of jerking off to it. If that majority happens to find that Emily girl model attractive, I think it's a pretty safe bet that those majority of players are going to go on and pick the game's options which lead to sex scenes with that character. As opposed to, you know...getting super and overly worked up about something on such personal level that didn't even happen within the confines of the game, and as such **NOT** choosing the make up sex route barring a content lockout elsewhere for doing so or just flat refusing to play the game altogether because of it.

Emily in general, just like Aubrey, was great flavor addition to this game imo/btw.

I looked through the game files and after the sushi date with Chloe there are scenes for kissing her at the door... but I didn't get those scenes. Any idea what I missed?

I tried to figure it out, but I could not. The new scripts for this version are broken out by scene which is nuts IMO. Now there are 46 scenes so 46 new scripts so trying to track down the variable was nuts. The variable to trigger the kiss as well as better dialogue is "chloers", but I could not find any time is was assigned a value other than FALSE in the original declaration files so not sure what to tell you. After looking through 25 or so files I just quit as it just wasn't worth it.

If you want, you could open the variables.rpy file in the game folder with a text editor and search for chloers and then change it from FALSE to TRUE. Then reload the game and that should allow you to see it.

is this version playable? or should i wait for future updates?
The story quality is way different... some of it was good but the transitions where clunky and it was missing the polish of the earlier versions. There are also a few bugs still there so unless they have updated those you should probably hold off.

You could try using 0x52 Universal RenPy mod. It has a side panel that allows you to see the variables as the scene/choices appear in game.

You can also search .rpy files by opening any .rpy, hold CTRL+SHIFT+F and use tab "Find in Files" to search for the variable.

This is what happens when any project of any kind switches writers.

As a professional screenwriter (I've been in the industry 7 years now), it's incredibly difficult to adapt on the fly like this. It is also why you often see that the sequels to movies don't entirely pan out the way you think they should. They switch writers, bring on some more, or any sort of what-have-you that's incredibly hard to keep a cohesive storyline. That and it's hard to keep that same flow, but that's a topic for another thread.

The story was good in this game, or the story strings at least. The topic of exploration was there, but what 8.3 was lacking was a cohesive wrap-up to an interaction as well as any proper flow from scene to scene. It's kind of like a fragmented dream where you are in a sunny field ogling some titties and then next Bruce Willis is chasing you with a sword. That's what this release felt like. Without the allure of Bruce Willis.

This would normally be a turn-off from most devs, but Steve seems focused on turning this ship on course again, so the next update is going to tell a lot about what kind of progress they can make as the new team gels. Until then... Anyone know what the last good Bruce Willis movie was?

I made a patch for that specific bug. Goes to game folder (Win PC). You have to re-play your Chloe save from where you ask her to HC.
