and that's on me i was completing my order that day and was missing one key to complete 10 keys order so i included this in a hurry without proper checking that's a dlc, and it says "Requires the base game College Kings 2 - Episode 1" on kinguin page here's what happened when trying to activated it which is understandable View attachment 2506161 so the key has been sitting in my inventory for awhile now

today while browsing i came across this

that's when i remembered okay i bought a key awhile back and it was a dlc for this game and the dlc page state clearly that i need this game in order to activate it so i bought the key from the second link default seller -->the first one (btw this just happened around 1 hour or so ago) and it doesn't say on the page anywhere that you need anything in order to activate the key so imagine my surprise & dissapointment when i got this when trying to activate on steam

now from where do i get the fucking original game & which other product that i'm required to have ownership of!!!!!????

and before anybody ridicule me that i'm buying this visual novel instead of "the link for the game for free just couple of clicks above" hear me out: the first post i ever posted here was about since i'm living in Germany and here we have steam fully censored even profanity, i asked in my one & only thread before even downloading anything for free is there any place where i can buy these games and support the devs and couldn't find any answer other than the patron and for me personally i'm not a firm believer in the patron model (and even if i want to pay a one time payment there they don't support my payment method) i'm of the mindset of 'show me a few renders if i like them i will ask you how much your product worth? give me your price no matter what it is, you (dev evaluate) like they do on steam and other keys retailers, i will pay you for it what you asked upfront one time and done even if it's 'for beta testing' as long as i know i have the product

after that post i downloaded few games for free since i couldn't find a way to pay for the VNs that i liked until i luckily stumbled upon the adult section on Kinguin (btw i have an account there for awhile but never once knew they sell AVNs there (so i said to myself finally i found a way to support the devs that i like their display renders from here & release their games on steam and sell keys, and since then for almost a year now my steam library is been filled with AVNs the ones that i see couple of renders for on their Kinguin page. that's right kinguin brought me here

- this key cannot even be activated in Germany. There are restrictions on the game in China and Germany so you need a German key (if such exists). Next time, check everything before buying a game because you might be surprised as in this case.

I will add from myself: Kinguin is a key store. If he buys keys he should know that they are from an unofficial source and they will not help him if the key is from a private seller. In a key store you buy cheaper but you take a risk which is obvious. In this case he made a mistake and bought a key that cannot be activated in Germany. That's all.

Im confused. The game stops directly after the election but I'm reading here that the content goes beyond that.

For some reason it says it's the end of the update after the Nora smoking scene.

Is there something I'm missing?

Load your game save. Open the console. Use Left Shift + O to open the console. Enter the jump v4start command to start Episode 2.

my guess is they only say "This product cannot be activated in: Germany" on keys retailer sites for either regulation reasons or because they want to absolve themselves from responsibility because they know steam is censored in Germany or because there were such regulations in the past on keys but due to complaints from German customers steam lifted such restrictions on global or ROW (rest of world ) keys for adults content in Germany because they know how egregious our government decision is by censoring steam, how i know this

almost two years ago i took a risk with a couple of cheap keys for max payne and other game censored in steam's German store just to test the water and both of those keys worked since then i bought more than 100 keys with such message "This product cannot be activated in: Germany" even for games that are now delisted from steam's store and all of them worked
except for a couple of cases: 1. sleeping dogs: definitive edition steam key global which i bought from g2a and when i requested a refund and proved it with screenshots they gave me a refund even though it stated that it cannot be activated in Germany 2. saints row: the third (the full package) steam key global from eneba which i didn't request a refund for because on eneba's site before opening your key they have one last region check once you confirmed your region and view the key unless it's not valid or duplicate my guess is you can't request a refund, i didn't try myself because of the region check warning before opening the key and since then the key sitting in my library collecting dust but the silver linings it's only €2.97 E.g. this is what i get on steam if i tried to enter my key for saints row, my guess here is because due to how old these products are there were such restrictions once upon a time but then again what contradicts this theory is my key for max payne 1 and countless others worked so i don't know it depends i guess :/

and btw only the developer or publisher can request keys patches from steam to be sold on retailers websites and in this case since it's a patreon's game it's the dev himself (he's either involved directly or indirectly) sometimes devs here have a seller page on kinguin and they sell directly e.g. midnight ride and if you don't believe me go check the game's kinguin page or its season pass or dlcs individually i purchased from him directly there

no they will help if you requested support, customers support there help you by sending a link for you to follow instructions and send few screenshots prove, i swear believe it or not i purchased 169 keys and counting (and my wallet thanked me for it very much) from kinguin and not once did i received invalid or duplicate except once 3 weeks ago for a porn game costed me 1 euro that's why i got lazy to request a replacement or refund but maybe today i will do that along with this game
the other time i ordered a porn game called cockwork industries and upon activating it it turns out to be for another porn game called countess in crimson the irony here is they're both from the same dev lol, that's why i let it slide even though it's one euro cheaper
and again i explained to you in screenshots the difference between activating a key that's "Actually" region locked and this game's key that i bought which turns out to be a dlc or expansion that require the original game

Unless I'm missing something there isn't an inbuilt one in Act II, at least not in the latest version, so something like this designed to work for that one would be nice...

I've downloaded the torrent link above for Season 2 Act III, although Act III content isn't accessible. Scene gallery doesn't include the Act III locked scenes either. When I attempt to play past the "save now" slide at the end of Act II, the game comes up with errors and I have to exit. Path Builder also doesn't let me access anything but Act I. Unless there is an easy fix for this, the linked game above is completely broken.

Although, after searching through the files, Act III does exist, as does Act II & III images for the path builder, they just won't activate. Anyone got a fix for this?

In the latest version 3.0.6, I cannot see the content of EP2 and EP3, and the path builder also does not have options for EP2 and EP3. Does anyone else have this situation?

Yeah same problem as some people above, I played episode 1 then had to use the jump v4start command to start Episode 2 adn the it ends when Episode 2 ends again, Path builder and gallery still show just Episode 1 staff. Does anyone at least know the command to start Episode 3?

Gosh talk about screw ups. 3.0.6 is even worse than 3.0.2. Now, even in the path builder episode 2, and 3, of ck2 don't even show and you have to use codes.
