I love how engaged folks get when first playing through the first part of the game.
Soon they get back from the Europe trip, realize their saves don't work, that all the girls have lost their marbles and randomly swapped personalities, and the game is not half as fun as it used to be. :poop:
But that first playthrough, before the game turns to shit, is pretty fun. :devilish:
Yeah, I would say the story takes a huge dip around the Europe arc and then all throughout the Ep 1 of CK2. You can certainly see there was some serious behind the scenes drama, with multiple writers coming and going. I wasn't even that invested in Chloe, but even I can say her personality did a 180 on a whim. Also, what have you done to my fun, dorky Riley and who is that sad, wet noodle impersonating her? Why is she suddenly obsessed with polyamorous relationships? Also, I question the logic of dumping the "polyamorous" route on the one character that consistently keeps shutting you down if she even smells a whiff of you being interested in other girls, because she's low-key the insecure one? I guess it's because that other college-themed game did it?
But the game does get better midway through Episode 2, with the girls' personalities getting mostly rerailed as of Ep. 3, I am willing to give the dev the benefit of a doubt. I am mostly curious where Episode 6 (and my hard-earned relationship with Riley) is going to go.

Is there a certain set of choices you need to make to hook up with the Chef or regardless of what you choose you can't?

Cool. Thanks Jafo, haven't played it yet. Been waiting for a less buggier version.
Well to be honest, the latest is really playable. Instead of the URM issue I have mentioned before it is much more playable than I excpected to be. So far no crashes.

I would say to you to give it a try

I was planning on it, but I saw your comments about URM, which makes me not in any rush to play it. (Although I'm at the point, I've got all my paths and routes already set, so it probably doesn't matter).

I am new to this game, and super confused.
When I went to download season 1 for Android there are 2 acts wherever I went,
But on PC it says 3 acts. So is there no android version of season 1 act 3, if there is Where can I get full season 1 for Android.
Can somebody tell me ?

I just played through CK1 for the first time ever and beginning CK2 after vaguely reading through some of the forums and here have been my thoughts so far:

COLLEGE KINGS 1:
Overall, the story was pretty good and I would say better than the majority of AVNs I've played - hell, I'd through it in my personal top 5. However there were some consistency issues that really bothered me.

Some annoyances I found is that in a game where the story is centered around becoming the ultimate fighting champ, most of the fights are just timed reactions of "dodge" "run" "punch" instead of using the actual minigame they developed which I felt was strange. I get it, not everyone wants to play minigames in an AVN, but they're great for changing the pace of just clicking through dialogue and making it more interactive. The Murder Mystery for example, was a great change of pace and fun to strategize and play through.

Speaking of Murder Mystery, holy fuck the free roams are so annoying to navigate. I found myself looping through areas on accident numerous times even on multiple playthroughs for new routes. You're basically a mouse running through a maze just guessing where you're supposed to go based off of scent.

Europe trip: Overall, a lot of fun but there isn't really a big underlying story moving but rather a DLC main quest filled with a bunch of side stories. Yeah, you can argue the Chris/Nora relationship or the Chicks drama as the main moving pieces, but it doesn't feel like a big main story objective that's moving along but rather mentions of it while going on your 20th side quest.

COLLEGE KINGS 2:
I've barely started it but my biggest annoyance right now is how you have to wait for a 2 second animation of a mouth opening/closing before getting the dialogue. I tend to read fast and it feels like everything is getting dragged out just waiting on those animations alone. The animations themselves aren't bad and add further immersion, but waiting for them over and over again before the dialogue is driving me nuts and making it hard for me to want to continue.
