They did. But during CH2 every update created even more bugs. Ch2 is by far the worst. After that the game got better.

The code blocks you from scenes both based on status, mood, and variables. The game often checks for in lauren's case, aubrey and penelope. So many important checks like scenes you must be Lauren's Boyfriend, not FWB/GF with Aubrey, and not dating Penelope.
This is used alot with Lauren, since there are many instances where you lose lauren because your also on another path, so try temporarily tweaking other characters relations. Haven't looked much into CK2 code, but it is used a bit in CK1, and a light check shows it's also used for CK2.
I'm currently working on a dedicated mod for CK, and it will eventually include a Multi-Route option, but I'm still developing the base mod, and the Multi-Route will come later.

Somehow I managed with this mod https://f95zone.to/threads/college-kings-multi-mod-duke-knox.185275/ in combination with URM to play it in 2 passes. Seen all scenes.

sorry if this has already been asked, but does anyone know a way to maybe delete previous texts/kiwis? every time i go on the phone now its so slow and laggy because of previous messages.

I would love to know too.
With URM you can delete each text for each girl but it takes ages.
