Well, i really can settle with the assets she has
I mean she and her daughter, our sister, is sure the hottest in my eyes. Even if i consider sister dearest's hair godawful but hey, thats her hair.But she better come up with some damn good explanation instead of a few cheap lazy excuses. I try hard not to judge her too harshly too quickly. Its just that all this mom who dumps kid hits a tad bit too close to home so my standpoint in such setups is not "I'm sure she is innocent" and work from there.. more like "she is guilty as fuck" and she can have a chance proving herself.
But of course this is just a porn VN after all. In another one another dev really didn't give it much thought behind the situation, rigged it toward an audience who had no emotional bias and just want to lewd momy as quickly as possible so to forgive her as fast they could. Now, thats not me but i'm fully aware that i'm not the target audience.
Yet due to how intriguing this VN is already with a first release i'm much interested to see the story unfold and wish to know Lora's story.

I'm sorry, man. That sucks. It seems that I'm a bit biased too, in the opposite direction.
Getting separated from both his/her parents is the worst thing that can happen to a child. And a parent that does so without the best possible reason is obviously the worst. That's why I think you've taken this "guilty until proven otherwise" standpoint.
My thoughts exactly. I wonder how the author will justify her actions. It's an adult VN - true. But, as I've explained, the author has already shown exceptional deliberation when it comes to Lora as a character. I don't think he'll throw her into the gutter by making some bad story choices. But then, even GoT managed to shock me and break my heart thoroughly (should've seen it coming though).
BTW, you have to understand that Lora is not totally mentally sound. The extreme form of idealism you mentioned in a previous post, is maybe a side effect of her Jocasta complex. Seeing how unlikeable she found her husband, I guess she tried to make the MC everything her husband wasn't - a perfect man.

Oh i do but thats hardly a redeeming quality and kinda goes against her because if your Jocasta theory is right she would have stick around, no? I mean she wouldn't have just vanished for so long. No call, no email, no nothing. Whats the reason for such complete severence of ties with her own children..?
Okay there is one. IF she realized that she has some serious 'I wanna lewd my son' issue and staying around would have worsen it.. She could have decided to severe all ties before something "terrible" would have happened. Even worse if she was caught.. and basically blackmailed to leave. Now that i'd understand and has a possibility to have happened. I give her the benefit of doubt because we don't have all the sketchbook scenes.
I'm in a love and hate relationship -figuratively- with Lora right now. I don't wanna forgive her, won't forgive he if explanation is shabby and shallow.. but i wanna forgive her secretly. Yeah, totally secret
Its just the chance for a sound reason is so slim. I feel like she isn't totally innocent in here and i'm actually curios as to how much responsibility she'll be willing to take.In anyway, i admire the presentation of her. She sure has an intriguing story so far. Gets me emotionally invested. My own personal bias is irrelevant in terms of how interesting this relationship can be later on.
To be honest i actually think that the mc for once is like me in regard that he both loves and hates his mom. It hangs in the balance how it will be and Lora has to tread carefully yet she has the tools to tip the balance to either side.
