The best metaphor I can muster based on what you said, would be that Come Inside is that "girlfriend" that never shows up and always makes excuses, but people get so obsessed with her to the point that they become too afraid to let go in case she would eventually give them more than nude pictures.

Holy shit I can't believe it's been over a year since the last update, some minor lip service with Patreon updates shouldn't be enough to avoid a game getting the abandoned tag.
Sucks because this was one few games here that I remained interested in continuing the story with.

ttll If your game is narratively intense why not release it in a text style like that game(seeds of chaos) with blank scenes or maybe only include the important renders that are necessary for the narrative then later add the rest of the CGs when they are complete.

So what you are saying is the dev should release a 'dialogue only' update, but i'd assume people only play this game for the amazing render quality and we will still be waiting over a year for each update.
