I love how this guy has no intention of giving any information regarding progress, and i don't mean release date but just in general information about how much render has he completed, how much does he want to place in this update so on and so forth.
He has made up his mind that he is going to milk the absolute tits out of this game as long as he can and as long as support doesn't goes down.

The last i heard/read, the next update (if it ever happens), will be a disappointment to anyone expecting any real content (the devs words not mine), so maybe the wallpapers will end up being better than the game anyway, lol

many of his fans have already lost faith
He went from making more than $1000 a month to less than $600

That actually happens to every dev at the start of a new month, he will probably get the money back when his patreons sub back to him.

Delaying updates have become a new trend. Not only this but other beautiful games as well that used to have regular updates nearly every two months now posting at max three updates a year.

As far as I recall, the last update this game had was around April 2020. Which is more than a year without update already. And while, honestly speaking, I'm ready to wait even more for a game of such quality (good art, amazingly written character relationships (especially between the MC and his mother), and a "real" story (which 99% of the other games of this genre lack, instead presenting the player with some cheap porn story)), the fact that author either spends his time without making much progress or, even worse, rewriting the story again and again (which in time simply gonna kill his original vision of the story), makes me worry about the future of this game...

The way I see it....if its not possible to release an update every 1 to 3 months, 6 months max, these devs should NOT be charging monthly and should be charging PER release instead. A few devs (more than a few actually) in these forums pushing a single update per year with very little content. I get that they might have full time jobs but that just brings me back to my point....charge per release. People will still complain either way.

You have devs that deserve the support releasing updates monthly or every 2/3 months with quality content and aren't making much and you have devs releasing 1 update per year with 5 10 minutes worth of content and raking in serious cash. Twisted world we live in lol

Most of the games i play/sub to are max 3 months between updates, and that is only 1 or 2, the rest are 1-2 months on average

I could not agree more. If F95 can form an appreciation thread for such Devs similar to the polls during christmas, it would do a whole lot of good for them.

At least his patrons are starting to go down from 1400/month to 500/month now.
I dont get why f95 dont design a model to prevent creators to stop milking people. This is easily the nr1 website to get their game out there, even though it is a pirating website. Without this website they wouldnt make that much money.
And yet they still use this as an argument not to make an effort for the people here. I cant believe how many idiots there are still paying for these kind of games with lazy devs.
