Oh yes your majesty, my apologies. I simply failed to recognize your incredibly distinguished taste. Clearly you know better than all the people who were able to see past such insignificant inadequacies to see what a great game this is as per its review rating. You're right, a bit of poor grammar completely invalidates all of that.

Maybe you should take your own advice and have some respect for yourself. Nobody's going to respect you if you come into a thread complaining that the game should only have a 3* rating because of an entirely trivial shortcoming. We're here because we enjoy this game, what did you think was gonna happen when you come in and start talking shit? Especially over such a weak ass complaint. If you had any self respect you'd have moved on to something you enjoyed instead of making a clown out of yourself.

Initially, I didn't wanna comment on the visuals yet because I'm still early and and (hopefully) it gets better, but you claiming that the graphics are good is hilarious since the dev of the game literally has nothing to do with the engine it's made on, you'd have to go out of your way to somehow make something look worse than default honey select, and there's been nothing makes me feel that the dev did anything to go out of his way to make it look any better than default HS, either.

But yeah I definitely wouldn't call graphics "very good" (using real life pictures as backgrounds is good graphics apparently), the renders and could also use a lot of work, a lot of the renders look aliased, the lighting in a bunch of scenes is low effort and videos could use better looping as well. I also noticed inconsistencies in the latest sex scene I saw after defeating the blue nipples woman, when Noel was swapping dildos, Styx kept losing her shoes and getting them back from one frame to another. The sex scenes so far have also been really generic: blowjob on bed.. missionary and doggystyle.. like, the only half interesting one was the thighjob but even that one dropped the ball because it was like they instantly forgot about people being around halfway through, I don't think the prospect of getting caught was even mentioned in text afterwards.

Similarly, I don't want to comment on the lore because I'm early on but so far it gives me this impression of being a 14 year old's first edgy plot idea, it feels like the game throws a lot of lore dumps at you that it quickly brushes off or are completely irrelevant at the time, like when Noel mentioned that they used to yoink energy from one another, hence the titles they have, but how it's pointless now that they get it from humans; why even include stuff like that in the first place? It just feels like the dev threw any random cool shit he could think of into the story to see what sticks for later.

Have some respect for yourself, you're playing VN's where you spend practically most of it reading, how can you be alright with the reading experience being dreadful? Pulling the ESL card is pointless considering:
  • The dev has a patreon and a subscribestar and it would be trivial to hire someone off Fiverr or some similar service to proofread or just ask some fanatic to volunteer for him
  • The game is published in English and only in English, as far as I can see
  • ESL is hardly an excuse in this day and age, English is my 3rd language so I don't see how that's something to be handwaved away; you create a game in English and I'll judge it by English standards

The AVN's story is better than at least 95% of the avns on this site no matter how shiny some avns may be which seems to satifsfy you greatly.

Maybe you should stick to shiny avns without any deepth or interesting story whatsoever.

Judge however you want, literally nobody cares about it. But when you act like youre some literary authority it becomes just cringe. We're on a porn site and youre behaving like majority of the AVN's here are deep classic masterpieces while in reality most avns are about some dwarfs who harrass their sleeping family lol

This AVN has a cool, interesting and unique story. But you can just play boring shiny avns who are all the same and consider them the nonplus ultra of avn's, nobodys stopping you.

You seem very desperate to seem smart by the way, its kinda pathetic.

Howdy, finally got around to playing Companion of Darkness which I guess is Good & Bad. Good because it meant I got to play 9 chapters before I got stuck in the Limbo waiting game and Bad because I now have to wait in the Limbo waiting game.

First, let me just say I loved the game. The Characters, the action, the Story... yes, there are some grammar issues, but it didn't take anything (for me) from the overall enjoyment of the game.

Second, FINALLY! A game full of the absolute best girls ever, tiny tittied beauties. I mean do you know how hard it is to find a game with 1-2 girls that are small breasted? It's ridiculous, all those balloon chested waste of pixels in 99 games out of 100.

(GOD BLESS YOU and your amazing small breasted beauties.)

Best of luck to you and your future endeavors. Playing CoD has made my week. (Or at least my last couple days, while I binged your game.) Can not wait to continue and ultimately complete CoD. So many possibilities running through my head of what might become of everyone.

True to this game's nature, I'm currently feeding on your emotions, and it's simply heartwarming to read words full of enjoyment and appreciation. I kinda envy you that you just went through this awesome journey, as I felt the same excitement when I first played this underappreciated, action-packed gem. So welcome to the Limbo, let our wait be short! :D

Btw good choice of the signature, I see CoD isn't the only thing we agree on xd

Hey guys, I just started playing this game, and it is awesome! But a quick question: In the changelog, it says chapter 9, but inside the game, it says EP 8. Why is that? :unsure:

Very nice game loved it. Good story telling Dev.
the animation in chapter 9 was better compared to the previous ones hope you keep that up. And also in future kindly think about giving the option to be dom/sub to a LI......for eg I remember that with arsael and emma there was no avoidable femdom option which means you see it or u dont.......but later on there was also a dream scene with claire where you gave the option to be dom or sub and believe it or not it is HIGHLY appreciated by many players.

Anyway keep up the good job (y)(y).....I would like to support the project in the future.
