I HATE that Italian Wife hasn't been updated for over 3 months, but at least the dev hasn't ghosted everyone yet (keeps doing little polls and sharing pics of character(s?) for patrons). Hopefully gets motivated again and we get an update!

Does anyone know a ranking/tier of all the games and wives from the Atelier Sakura studio? I wanted to start playing but there are so many.

Note: Yes, I've seen this list, I just wanted something more up-to-date.

Well check my profile I put my personal score on almost all their games (the ones that were translated) and that I've played (in case someone is asking i'm saving up mayumi).
I just put the heroines names since some game titles are way too long.
Searching for their games based on the heroine name is easy.

The one that immediately came to mind is Deliverance by 1Thousand. It's a completed game, and despite some faults there's a lot of well-earned praise for the game.
The wife of the MC can be sent out to get used and railed by her (former) boss in all sorts of ways up to and including optional rimjobs, iirc, as an example.

Marina series is worth playing, when Atelier started fully embracing the sub-genre (they have plenty of older games, of course, that fall into similar molds):
  1. Marina 1 - Good
  2. Marina 2 - Great
  3. Marina 3 - Don't bother, totally believe the statement that Onborozuki much prefers NTR games and was forced against his will...
^ Played the trilogy in JPN with MTL, but I have played parts since in English and that didn't change my impressions.

Similar spin offs, Mariko:
  • Mariko 1 - First time I played it (JPN with MTL) I considered it to be a fairly straightforward albeit mundane NTR plot. Then they announced a sequel and I was surprised it was supposed to even be netorase given the entire plot and ending. Upon replaying it (ENG) and further deliberation I'll buy the claim that it isn't a ret-con and monetary milking on Atelier's part, having a positive sentiment given uniqueness / deceptiveness, but it'll basically be NTR play with some hidden NTS component at best. I imagine the game will enrage many here.
  • Mariko 2 - No opinion, inadvertently abandoned after the prologue. I'll revisit eventually.

Similar spin offs, Mayumi:
  • Mayumi 1 - NTS & cheating game. Individually I liked the narrative and flow, and felt it was very tidily executed as NTS with a heaping side of cheating -- male boss is leaving and is a safe 'bull' -- but Atelier's full milking mode and necessity to throw drama into it to justify a sequel will earn bad will from many. Overall, decent enough title on its own but not a very good one for this specific thread.
  • Mayumi 2 - Never played after the disappointment of the above. I'll return to it eventually. Low priority.

Gyaru / promiscuity, all safe for this thread and suggested:
  • Gyaruzuma Sex - First of this series. Liked it when I played it but would recommend starting this before others since it might be slightly boring in comparison. Vanilla NTS.
  • Suki Datta 1 - Promiscuous childhood friend, very hot art. Strongly recommended. Ending is slightly weak but can't go wrong with this.
  • Gal Kano - More safe fap material. Similarly recommended.
  • Anri - One of the most outrageously hot cover designs. Unfortunately they paywalled some content and much of the scene art is even more repetitive than normal for Atelier's budget. Major disappointment despite the heroine, but I guess grumbling is reserved for paying customers. For free, worth a play through with lowered expectations.
  • Miina - Felt too much of a drag, not much of a fan as a result. Heats up too late. Others may have different opinions.
  • Gyaru Ria - Safe fap material as the rest, but the art is bad. Atelier has excellent artists across their various brands and no matter the genre, the character graphics are usually pretty good. This game bucks the trend and I don't recommend it for that reason but your preferences might vary.

Others:
  • Yarisa Club - Neither NTR nor NTS and has a few hot parts (tennis court, ending). Recommended. Played in JPN with MTL originally.
  • Koibito Swapping - Multiple routes including cuck. Personally, I don't think the NTR route is very NTR-ish at all even if it was intended, but this might be a divise opinion...? I originally played this in JPN with MTL and liked it for its somewhat unique balance.
  • Shina Hoka (Aya) - NTR, fairly standard plot but not bad for its genre. Not appropriate for this thread.
  • Kashidashi Kanojo - NTR, though thematically fitting and worth playing for its genre. Not appropriate for this thread.
  • My Wife in His Embrace - Don't remember much details, but it had NTS elements. Very pedestrian. I don't think I've liked a single game from this author (Nakamori Namori).

And there's some other games that I've played that I didn't see in the f95 list, but of course conversely there are many more that I have either never played or only partially / abandoned. Most of the games are NTR rather than NTS anyway with some odd exceptions like

(multiple routes, unique plot telling and recommended for that reason) so it doesn't matter.

So, where would I recommend that a neutral party start? With something like Gyaruzuma Sex, since it has a gradual ramp up and less raw eroticism compared to, say, Suki Datta 1. If you play in a different order then impressions may be less favorable.
