I will not argue on this topic, but I will agree on one thing, that what she did, to put it mildly, was wrong and they should have talked. And that's what confused me, as if the character was changed completely.

At this point there are about 3 or 4 people that I like and the rest I want to drop into an active volcano just as it goes off.

At least with Zoey we already knew that there were things about her that were off, that Brad guy's sudden transformation is plain insane.

Holy fuck why are Izzy and Brad also complete pieces of shit? I didn't want Alex and him to start dating but I thought he was a decent enough guy that they could be friends but not anymore. Actually I think Brad's character was assassinated harder than Zoe's if you can somehow believe that. Alex telling Brad that she's trans makes no fucking sense. Why share such personal info with someone who was drunk and such an ass to her? She should of left as soon as he groped her. Did that bs really happen just for Brad to join Kevin's blackmail/humiliation scheme.

I just don't get what the fuck is going on with this writing. Seems like Zoe, Izzy and Brad were written this way just to push Alex and Chris together.

Overall this update was a massive disappointment. When I heard the dev say that this chapter will end on a bang I did not take it as a metaphor for my enthusiasm for the rest of the chapters. My hype for this game has just dropped by 95%. Chapter 6 needs to knock it out of the park but now I'm wary if Ill even enjoy the writting.

I think I get where you're coming from with Alex making mistakes when it comes to dating but I was just confused how she was willing to share such personal information with Brad after cutting Zoe out of her life after they both acted in a similar manner.

I read Zoe's action more like developing a crush on Alex while crushing on Chris for so long and that caused confusion in her about her feelings which caused her to act out in...really weird and inappropriate ways. You wanting to base character reactions to things like that in reality just threw me off since in most adult games those actions would not be treated as serious as they are. I want to thank you for treating serious issues as serious in your game even if it involves a character I like.

Alex's anger and decision to cut Zoe out of her life was completely justifiable and I agree with it. I was just making excuses for a character that I like and I was just upset that it had to be one of the few people who has shown to genuinely care and support Alex. I do like that they may be able talk about this massive fuck up with the possibility to heal their relationship.

I am still looking forward to where Alex's journey leads her. You may be able to tell that I wrote my thoughts in that post as I was playing the game so my anger at the mistreatment of the girls was still fresh. I just want good things for Alex and for her to find more people that care for her not less.

Snax my friend, you know I love you but I must disagree with your opening here... giving any comparison between the superior, masterpiece quality of Confusion with that third rate 2D weird kink infested crap known as Summertime Saga is ridiculous. The story, rendering and overall game design are so much better in your title so as to defy any such comparison. It is like comparing a top of the line Mecedes or Lexus to a 70's Ford Pinto. Confusion requires the player to think about the experience and react. That other title is nothing more than mindless fap fodder. IMHO, it isn't even a good fap fodder title! You should seriously consider not making such a comparison again... People are sheep. Sheep are rather stupid animals... Hahaha

The reason no one talks about characters in that "other" title is because they are all one dimensional posing in overly cartoonish 2D renders. The reason that folks DO talk about your characters is because they have such elements of reality that they come alive! Since this story is told from Alex' POV the antagonists can be seen as more two dimensional, similar to how Shawshank Redemption is told from Andy's POV. Yet, the flashback sequences and the "what's going on at Kevin's house?" scene give us much more insight as to how these characters came to be as they are...

As for Zoey... I hope she is willing to make some changes in her behavior to allow her to be redeemed. However, if she is unwilling or unable to change then I must stand with Alex on not hanging with Zoey any more.

There's a word for folks who spend more time thumping their bible than reading it, just trying to push their own personal agenda rather than living the lessons taught in that book. That word is hypocrite! The God I know says, "Do not judge" and "Love one another." To me it is impossible to show anyone the love of God when you have a judgmental finger shoved in the other person's face! Love one another... Forgive to be forgiven... Do not judge... That is what I know and believe, not finger pointing. I have played the "anti-bully" for many of my dear friends over the years. Those who were different for one reason or another because of race, religion, nationality, physical attributes, sexual orientation or just being a bit weird.

Again, my philosophy is rather simple... There is no such thing as "normal." Normal is a figment of someone else's imagination and does NOT exist! There is only average. Average is extremely boring! I agree to this completely on all of this.

I may not have seen her obsession and it unsettled me, but her act ruined her character for me. Even if you imagine, for example, Brad in her place, who would go further in his groping (and I'm not even talking about how he behaved in the game), no one would give him a second chance. Just because she's been supportive in the past won't change anything. I mean, how can Alex even know if this support was sincere or just to get closer to her?

The same goes for Ellie. The more I learn about her, the less I want her and Alex to breathe the same air.

MC should somehow forget what it is like to be bullied and belittled,
something it/she/he has been seeing all about in the siblings,
and suddenly strive at becoming the vindictive bitch towards same siblings and wishing them ill.

Siblings, especially sisters, in this game tend to rely on one another,
because they could only help themselves outta being bullied by bringing
the other sisters in the hurt, to which the siters act all not knowing or caring of the hurt,
blaming the victim for asking for help and them all ending in the same predicament.

On top of that, it is suggested that the sisters accuse the victim too, because asking for help and the helpers
suddenly ending up in the same hole as the victim makes them more redeemable worth than the victim.
