Please don't spread falsehoods about my game, especially if you haven't played it.
1. There is no racism in my game. None whatsoever. And even if it were, it wouldn't be the first game to do it.
2. The comment you're replying to is also wrong. No one who says the n word in this game is white. The only one who has said it so far is a girl by the name of Ayana and I've established in this thread multiple times already that she's a girl of color. And it's only been used twice. Trust me, I've felt the urge to drop it damn near every sentence because that's how I talk in real life. But I understand how unattractive it is, so I've kept it VERY tame.
3. I'm a black kid from the hood. A part of myself is in every fiber of this story, and that includes dialogue. I understand there will be people on the outside looking in feeling pretty uncomfortable about the use of such language, but by all means, either skip over it or don't play it at all. Just because I use the word doesn't mean I expect y'all to use it, or even be okay with it. But it's not gonna stop popping up. If that's problematic for you or anyone else, please don't even download it.

I played through the game and loved it, At no time did i feel that any race or culture was being belittled or disparaged.
My God when did Society change To put so much power in a words?? Words only have the power you give them.

This is an issue with many forms of race, and it is majorly glossed over. Even when in correct context. One race can say something to each other, but whenever a different race says it, it's the end of the world and wrong. However, it's completely off-topic really and I didn't find it a problem personally in the game other than I was surprised it was there. Certainly didn't bother me.

On a more serious note though, hopefully without turning this into a debate we don't need, I've never been connected (no pun intended) to the word like others are, so I've never cared who actually says it. Perhaps I should care, I don't know. I found the word by hood culture. Always knew it was derogatory. Always knew it was considered "racist" or at the very least dangerous when others said it. But I've never dealt with the "hate" of the word. That may be why I am how I am.
More than that, I've just....never cared about words like that. I'll never encourage it, but I don't have a problem with it either. I honestly don't give a fuck about anything that ain't got shit to do with me on a personal level.
As far as I'm concerned, anyone has the right to say what they want. But be mindful of who, when and where if you not tryna face the consequences.

The "N word" in the game didn't phase me because I know that's how some people talk to each other, I've seen it firsthand when hanging out with my friends. I also know that, as a white man, if I was to say it that I'd be ripped apart for it (deservedly so) by those same friends.
