Haha, interesting question, I think this table will help you figure it out.
Release Name | Release Date | Story renders | Duration in days | Average speed
(renders per day) |
Freetown | 2024-10-13 | 1649 | 357 | 4,6 |
Edinburgh | 2023-10-22 | 696 | 180 | 3,9 |
Dhaka | 2023-04-25 | 955 | 556 | 1,7 |
Capetown | 2021-10-16 | 523 | 306 | 1,7 |
Brisbane | 2020-12-14 | 356 | 155 | 2,3 |
Auckland | 2020-07-12 | 630 | 146 | 4,3 |
0.1 | 2020-02-17 | 648 | N/A | N/A |
But here it is important to take into account this thing: The numbers of story renders are taken from the last two versions of the game, since the renders in the game are organized in folders by release versions. So, if there were any serious changes before the release of Edinburgh version - alterations, addition or removal of renders in old folders - this table does not take this into account, since I could not find versions from 0.5 and older, they are all long ago expired and removed by file hostings.
So, as you can see, the latest update was the biggest and fastest (in terms of content/development days ratio) but still it took a year.
