i think is the later,...everybody is doing this for money...or recognition which comes with money ..sometimes... but there are more problems that the dev willing to do more....like he is not aiming for a huge audience at all.his target arent the full spectrum,...harem games and ntr or incest games are the hot games everybody wants to play so i dont see this game going forward with a huge increment in patrons numbers....maybe he will gain more if he finishe it and make another new one,...sometimesppl follow devs who actually have more than one game under his wing....right now i pldge to devs wich are frenzy hard workers ,have games beofre that are finished and give actula fuck to not be forgetable for a year,...yeah i dont pledge to those big games who only update once per year ,there is no need to do that if you can wright a good story ,...dont ask for more patreons whn you update once a year AND the product fall short in quantityt and in quality,....1000 renders per update is only acceptable if is updated 3 or 4 times at year,....and no 5k renders per update is not enough for me,...i prefer 4 updates with 100 renders each trimester than once at year....

Just finished playing the update. I fucking love this game. Can't wait for the next update (yeah, I know, I'll need patience, but I know it'll be worth the wait).

Oh, yeah. It's pretty obvious that Zoe is infatuated with our boy. And I'm not gonna lie; even if her character lacks content when compared to others, and more specifically to the goddess Elsa, she seems so sweet. I'm gonna hate it with all my heart when Eddie breaks her heart into pieces. Assuming there are gonna be at least few different paths for us to play, I hope one of them include this girl as a LI, so at least that way I can pursue her in one of them.

Vicky definitely seems to fit the silly blonde stereotype, but I still like her, and not only for the obvious reason of her good looks. I find cuteness in her clumsiness and her innocence.

I don't dislike Alice either. Again, her well-known model is good looking, true. But I also think that her persona shows good human qualities. By the way, for the most part I'm playing Edward to make him behave with as much empathy as possible. I am confident that these decisions I am making while playing the game will bring him good news for the most part.

It's a pity the lack of content for Emma in this update. I hope she plays a bigger role next.

I've also liked Charles (I think that's the name of Ed's direct supervisor) a lot. He's very weird but in a good way.

And Edward's relation and struggles with his assigned team in this episode have been of interest to me as well. Let's see how their relation evolve.

Elsa is probably the one character in the whole game that feels more fictitious. Don't get me wrong. I love her and want her for Eddie as the no. 1 option. But she barely feels human in many occasions. The most challenging part for me is to accept her traits and general behavior on a 22-year-old girl. People with that kind of determination and focus are usually much older than that. Anyway, Eddie is going to need to work really hard to pierce her defenses.

I can't say if this is something new to this episode or has been there since the beginning, since I haven't replayed the game as a whole. But honestly, I can live with that. And I love the game as it is.

the worse part if MC dumps Zoe is that, even more than Lucy, Zoe actually liked him before he got his glow up. sincere and genuine, for who he is.

Charles seems to want to bank on MC's future for his own gain. pretty much everyone can see MC's potential, except for MC himself and Emma lying to herself not wanting to admit it

MC struggle with his team is very basic stuff for anyone having gone through any kind of management position. so that part felt too slow, and MC's lack of any basic social skill and empathy was insufferable, especially his self-righteousness. really felt Elsa's frustration there.

and yeah, for a 22 year old person to be like that, she must have gone through some real intense shit. that's why she better had some incredible backstory to support the credibility of her character.

Forgot to reply to this... I somewhat agree on some of that, but like, the game IS called "Corporate Culture", and the whole "new team" arc literally has to do with corporate culture... so it's kinda silly to blame the game for doing what it says on the can

But you see, it's not that I complained about the existence of such an arc.
My point is that in that arc there are many unnecessary extra scenes, better spent elsewhere to progress the story, 'cause we already know what we need about that: we've seen a little bit of the characters, we've seen the lack of control over them, the failed attempt at asserting authority, the messing of Charles, the new method to disrupt their "scheme".. it could be kept shorter.. we only needed one scene to get Matt, one with Christine fight, etc.. instead we got, IMHO, redundant scenes which only reiterated what already established.
Especially since the updates take so long
