I really wish it were easy to add more clothing items to the game. I took a crack at the old game and I failed. I just find it so "immersion" breaking when students either keep wearing the same thing like a cartoon char. Yes I mentioned immersion in a porn game ha

I would say its pretty easy. The game really just cares about the folder structure of the images. They need to be in a folder with "clothing" in the name and the "cover" images do need to be in the correct folders ass_cover/boobs_cover/leg_cover/pussy_cover.
I attached a simple example but if you need further help feel free to ask here or message me directly.
EDIT:
I also added support for girls using custom images for clothing. Basically they will check their folders for matching images before defaulting to the generic ones. I don't see any custom images being added in the next version but the support will be there for the future/modders.

It was a new feature from 0.25, it might take modders a little while to add them(if they ever do).
EDIT: Actually I see Wirox has added fullbody images, the only problem being their format. I will report it to them.
Her and a few others that were the highest voted girls/mothers are being worked on for the next update.

Long time lurker here. First of all, I love the game and hope it will be expanded upon, because I think it has the potential to be fantastic!
One minor quibble: do you have that issue with the photos of the photoshoots being way too large and taking ages to be shown? Is there a quick way to fix this?

I would second that. Adding clothing to game (not to girls) seemed pretty intuitive to figure out:
Just go to game/scripts/databases/clothing_database,
add your new line item following the formula of other items,
then drop your appropriately-named images in the corresponding folders.
I can't quite yet figure out how I would add new items (after blazer) onto this mod script yet, however :/

Do you mean during photoshoots or loading it on the computer? I do experience a small stutter when loading the shoot review screen on the computer. I was experimenting with manually loading/unloading the images to memory but I didn't end up doing it because messing with memory like that can be quite unstable if you don't know what you are doing(which I don't really).

That's perfect. I had tried to do that myself, following the syntax that had worked for me in WTM, but failed. It's a much cleaner method than re-modding scripts each time there's a patch/update.

It's probably because the male performers will almost always be different. So consistency issues and not having the mc be the sole person is an easy fix.
Fixed this myself by saving the images in the 'fullbody' folder as .webp as they are currently .jpg
There is potential to have some kind of sex battle also, considering the images/videos available.
Also, is there any way to not repeat the generic files too often? Maybe implement some kind of cooldown in a future update.

So I gave this a shot without success. I suspect I am doing something wrong, but I am unable to determine what. I got to the point where I can see the new article of clothing in the overview before the exam, but there is an exception when loading the actual game part of the exam.

I have attempted a few things like moving the image around (creating a lower folder, etc) but have rmeoved it since it did not seem to make a difference.

clothing_tags=("cheerleader", "red",), covered_parts=("panties"), Those are you two problems. You only need the comma at the end if there is 1 tag since the game wants a list.
clothing_tags=("cheerleader", "red"), covered_parts=("panties",), Change it to the above and it should work.
EDIT:
You are also missing an "ass_cover" image for the clothing which is what your main error is from. For lower/panties it does need both.
EDIT2:
As a note the "clothing_tags" are a list of tags that are mainly used when trying to find videos. So you might want to add "skirt" to it just as a note.
