I also play it pretty nice and felt a shift here. Some of it is fine. I understand the MC being "rougher" in the dungeon. Even though he's always rough when it comes to sex and everyone loves it so I don't see the point...

As other people have mentioned, you don't need to start over for any of the updates - I work hard to ensure that old saves will always work in new updates. If you're ever stuck, just check the Character Card hints (click on the heart icon in the top-right, then click on the girl. The Hint will be at the bottom of her big card). Is it me or is there a pretty significant difference between what Kana carries into the room and what she puts in the vase?
Also, to add something to the discussion instead of just nitpicking, do you know there would be a way to add an icon (green/red circle?) to the Character Cards to indicate whether it'll just say "I don't think I can get any farther in this version of the game" once clicked?
Having to do this 17 times each time you want to see if you've unlocked some content is frustrating. Or at least make each card Click-to-close instead of having to move to the top-right X?
