Misapprehension 2
Trauma ends up permanently reducing the resistance(or increasing vulnerability) to said Trauma-type.
Again something I thought was exclusive to Circumstance.
To be clear, breaking vulnerabilities permanently increases vulnerability to said damage type, both trauma and circumstance. You'll see extra minuses in their profile to indicate that. Trauma levels also reduce the corresponding circumstance damage, so e.g. more FEAR = less HATE being inflicted (not permanently, just during that battle).

Honestly I'm waiting on a way to just amp up the Lust and Exhibitionistic tendencies and nothing else. I want to corrupt the heroines, turn them into lewd, exhibitionistic sluts - without making them either intensely suicidal or murderous.
You can do that. Theoretically you only need one total break for the final battle and you can use Innocence and/or Dignity for that. It'll be harder the more of the lower tier Morality and Confidence vulnerabilities you want to leave intact.

I don't know how much extra story/flavor text you'll get for it currently though.

Dude, your play by play has totally helped me understand the game as well. I knew I just needed to see someone play at a higher level than what the tutorial provides for it to finally click. Thanks a bunch.

Your guide could be linked as a walkthrough-starting guide, a very good example of how to start off

Now I feel bad because I omitted some stuff in my explanation as I tried to kept it simple lol.

Sure it would:
1. Create an empty list
2. Before printing flavour text to screen, hash it with SHA256 or similar and do a lookup on the list for the hash value
3. If the hash doesn't appear in the list, highlight the text and then add the hash to the list. If the hash does appear, do nothing
4. Serialize the list and include it with the save file
This is an interesting solution, thanks for posting it. It seems like it'd be a natural feature to include after the rework to make conditional formatting easier (as currently, a single action's worth of text printed to the screen is done by a bunch of different functions that don't look at each other).
Balance right now seems to be far too much on the knife edge. If you're not setting up massive feedback loops that keep people locked in Surround for a dozen+ turns in a row, you're simply accomplishing nothing.

Unfortunately, I'm not sure how that could be effectively addressed; I think it directly emerges from the 'logarithmic' structure of the game, everything hinging on powers of 10 and 2.
Thanks for the feedback. The next release will include a "hard mode" which attempts to address this by damping values more and more as they hit higher orders of magnitude. This should hopefully make it harder to snowball, but without making the early game any slower.
Another consequence of this is that any kind of 'themed' play is effectively impossible. I'm not especially comfortable with, and would have liked to forego, the infliction of massive amounts of injury and hatred on opponents; ideally I'd accomplish their defeat by pleasure and exposure and maybe a not-actually-implemented 'submission' parameter. But from what I've seen you cannot afford to neglect any of the four, really, hate and injury least of all; only the general approach is successful, reducing an incentive to play again once you've won.
My plan here is to implement some alternative corruption pathways which are opened up by hitting high trauma levels while leaving particular vulnerabilities unbroken. For example, if you can beat one of the Chosen without ever raping or torturing her, she might shift onto the "betrayal" corruption path where she actually starts liking what the Thralls do to her. Now that the main corruption paths are done, we're reaching the point where it could make sense to start working on the alternatives.
There are some theoretical advantages, but yes I agree at the time you are first unlocking them, suppressors don't feel worth it. The same could be said about the regular commanders as well. You can unlock them day one. But doing anything worthwhile with them with any other of the basic upgrades looks impossible. Maybe the research tree could be rearranged.

E.g. having the Barrier option unlocked earlier so you don't have to twiddle your thumbs while the suppressor does it's thing.

Of course this has balance implications and I may not see everything aspect and implication.
There have been a few times that I've been able to use an early Commander to break a Vulnerability before the third Chosen shows up. I think that they'll probably shine more once the campaign mode is in, since there'll be perks you get at the start of each loop which open up a lot more possible strategies.
5- the type of chosen have presets (the chosen names like chaos, purity, freedom, etc), now this is obvious but it could mean that later in development there could be added new presets or variations, by the developer or players (I know there is a customization but I mean to add to the pool of presets)
Technically, they aren't presets. Each Vulnerability gets assigned a value from 0 to 100, and the ones which are most "extreme" (i.e. furthest from 50) determine the Chosen's alias. So, a Reaper always has low Morality and high Confidence, but two different Reapers might have very different Innocence and Dignity values (as long as they're somewhere in between the Morality and Confidence values).
1- add something that upgrades you as you play against more teams, like achievements that (can) give you something when you make a scene play as long as you have cheats deactivated. this way you can make people try new ways to confront the chosen and make people that don't want to use cheats directly but still want a way to progress outside the current team. you could say "if you want it to be easier next time, just use cheats", but honestly is overkill, I would prefer small bonuses that could snowball into something (+1 damage, +1 EE at start)
This is pretty much how the campaign mode is going to be.
So should I be trying to concentrate on one girl at a time? Or should I be doing a different girl every time? Or a bit of a mix where I go after a girl until I break a vulnerability and then go after another? Also, should I apply as many circumstances as I can, or only a few and start attacking the other girls while one of them is surrounded?

Thanks for the help, btw. I wish the tutorial continued till you actually break a vulnerability. With it stopping before that point I feel really confused me.
The tutorial should end with breaking a Vulnerability. There's a part where it asks you to examine one girl, then go back and target a different one with your action. I know that there have been a few cases of players going off the rails because they used the action on the wrong target.
No problem, I'm starting a new game with a random team. Normally I'd customize a team for a more tailored experience, and break vulnerabilities selectively for the same reason, but for this example, I'll go with a random squad and show the first 13 days in an otherwise typical game for me.

Day 1: We start with a red-text Chosen, which tells us a Minor Vulnerability - Morality. The text is based on whether the Chosen has Core (blue), Significant (green) or minor (red) morality. I still don't know what her Core vulnerabiity might be, but at least I know not to use Threaten on her. I try Slime and it does mediocre damage, so Innocence has got to be a Significant Vulnerability to her. I try Attack and it does a much better 70 damage. The text also indicates she doesn't mind being hit. The rest of the fight is nothing but spamming Attack so we can get her well over 200+ trauma so we can start getting EE out of her Tier-1 downtime actions. Our first EE goes to Psychic Reading.

Day 2: Psychic reading confirms my earlier assumptions - Minor Morality, Core Confidence. Also Core Dignity, though we can see she's slightly less vulnerable to it, so we stick to spamming Attack the entire fight. It won't help with getting extra EE yet, but the unresolved trauma will increase Angst and, by extension, our damage multiplier on her. You can already see the difference, we're already doing more damage now. After the fight, we pick up Wide Deployment.

Day 3: Same as before, spamming Attack. Oh look, a wild blue-text Chosen appears. I don't need Psychic Reading to know she's weak against Threaten, but let's use it anyway. As it turns out, she's just as vulnerable to Slime and Shame. The rest of the fight is just me spamming Threaten on her, to get her generating EE for us like her less scrupulous new ally. Unfortunately the fight ends on Round 7, and there just wasn't enough time to get 200 EE. We pick up Fast Breeders and start the next day, targeting the new Chosen.

Day 4: Not much to say, Prophet gets Threatened a lot and of course, she stats making that sweet EE for us. We pick up Enhanced Polymorphism.

Day 5: Prophet remains the target for now. Nothing special happens, just a lot of Threatening. Then we get Coordinated Deployment.

Day 6: Same as before, yawn. By now, Prophet has the same damage multiplier as Calamity. We pick up Focus, not Weakness Sense, as I can't be bothered to use Surround until I have some basics in place.

Day 7: Back to Calamity with Attacks. We get Eager Breeders afterwards. Expecting the third Chosen any day now, it can vary a bit.

Day 8: Back to Prophet with Threaten. Ah, there we go, green-text girl is here. From what we already know of the other two, we've already deduced she's going to have Core Innocence (since neither of the others has it) and indeed, there it is, along with the accompanying weakness to Slime. We manage to get DISG over 200, so she'll be earning EE right away. I expect to spend the next 3 days farming 3 EE each in order to get a basic commander in place. Might as well also spam Slime on our new opponent to get her damage multiplier up. In fact, that's all we'll do until day 12. I'm sure there's room to get fancier here, but my intent is just to show what can be done in a few days with a basic 1x4 or 2x4 commander.

On reaching day 12, I've got 13 EE saved up and the Chosen all have roughly the same damage multiplier. For future reference, I've also noticed Prophet has pre-broken Innocence, which explains her starting weakness to Slime. Now it's time to buy a commander and go to town. I pick up Weakness Sense, Perception and Cunning. We'll just be using a 1x4 (1 capture, 4 round duration) commander today, as there's not quite enough EE to pick up a second capture just yet. Looking at our Chosen, it's clear that Jackal should be our first target - she's weak to INJU, plus she's she's the easiest one to strip (weak to EXPO), which means she's going to be our first target in any combat for the foreseeable future.
This was a very interesting read. It's always helpful to the development of the game when I get a chance to see how players actually play it.

I just redid it and noticed it this time. I apologize. Seems like it was a me problem.

The reason I play porn games is to find games with sexy or esoteric frameworks around a porn focus. I'm constantly frustrated by the number of RPGs and Metroidvania games that masquerade as porn games for the simple fact that they just aren't by their very nature. Typically, they're just mediocre platformers or RPG battlers bootstrapped to a few sexy pictures when you win(or lose, even worse). There's a handful of those that can rise above the trash, but the vast majority seem like horrible cash grabs trying to capture an audience with a little T and A.

It's games like this that remind me why I bother looking through porn games at all.

This is a game about the porn. There's no pointless battle system that has nothing to do with the sexy, no platforming required to attain the ass, and the story orbits around sex and corruption all the way through. There's not a single picture of a tit or ass in the entire game, but it hits the mark where so many games miss it - a sexy fantasy with gameplay elements focused on the sex.

And the gameplay is pretty phenomenal as well. As a 4x player, I like a game that can force me to really consider its mechanics in order to master it, and Corrupted Saviors really delivers. The magical girls aren't your typical sex game protagonist, ready to lay down and take it as soon as you hit the kill yourself button. They're army destroying boss characters all to willing to rip you a new one with the power of love and friendship. You need to analyze their personalities, find their weaknesses and develop a battle strategy that can exploit them if you want to avoid becoming another lifeless husk in their wake (especially if you build up their rage!).

If you're into what this game offers, it's just phenomenal. It might lack pictures, but it captures the essence of what sex games are about. If you're the type willing to read for your metaphorical supper, I can't offer a better game as a recommendation. It's even got an option to change the absolutely brutal attacks in the game into tickling, just in case you're the squeamish type who doesn't like to read about broken bones, incineration, electrocution and large object insertion with their sexy (like me, thanks a ton by the way).

If I had to choose a weakness in the game, I suppose it would be the power curve. Your mindless horde isn't too effective against the magical girls in the early game and generating evil energy to field a strong commander to help is expensive. However, smart gameplay will quickly see your horde molesting increasingly willing corrupted saviors on the daily. In fact, you can find yourself setting up 20+ turn surrounds, which frankly can become a little tedious. There are a few mechanics that shorten that duration, assuming your magical girl opponents are corrupted enough to utilize them (read EXTREME MURDER), but there's a bit of an awkward timing window where you might find yourself reading a lot of the same text boxes as one magical girl is molested and the other two... cheer her on? Nevertheless, it's pretty minor in the scheme of things and frankly it just felt like sweet success to me through most of it.

In any case, great game, I loved it.

Use the stars on the upper right of the page to rate the game, then it should bring up a box to type in or paste your review.

Hah, well, that wasn't so much my focus - I don't particularly mind the snowballing section, I was rather thinking instead that it would be nice to be able to accomplish more on the other side of the knife, that puttering around suboptimally could still make some sort of progress instead of being largely pointless.

That said, I realize I failed to give any positive feedback in my last comment, which is in fact due - as Rex says, this has some of the most thought and effort put into it of any game I've recently seen, and has impressive depth of feedback. A class apart from the poorly-written dross which generally fills the forum.

(Though, to return to another moderate annoyance: once vulnerabilities are broken enough to unleash the suicide bomb bomb skill, your commander lives are basically just cut in half; they'll trigger it on any commander worth using. It's rough.)

Thanks to Pretentious Goblin's guide, I've finally been able to get somewhere with this game. I've now reached a point where two of the Chosen have vulnerabilities that say "Capture with your Commander." However, capturing them with my commander doesn't do anything beyond a normal capture. Does anyone know what I'm supposed to do?

Is this the one for confidence? If so you need to capture them with a commander which has a long enough timer, if its set up right then towards the end of the timer they'll detonate allowing them to escape early at the cost of increasing there own injury and moving them up a tier for that vulnerability while unlocking detonate as a permanent behaviour for them.

Can you post the whole line or profile?

Does it show some kind of % in parentheses behind that? Then it's about the final break and need to just use the right commander? It's the Punisher type corresponding to the respective vulnerability. Maybe you don't have it researched yet.

If it is Confidence, then the Commander needs to have a Suppressor/Defiler/Punisher upgrade; otherwise they are treated as being surrounded by thralls instead of captured by a commander. If you capture them with a commander and you aren't allowed to target them with new attacks, that means you are using a commander that will trigger the Adaptation

Thanks, it is indeed confidence. Here's an example profile (I actually have two Chosen with the same line):

Vulnerabilities
Morality: FEAR -----|--- HATE <= Core Vulnerability: Reach 1.00G Unresolved FEAR
Innocence: DISG ----|---- PLEA <= Significant Vulnerability: Reach 1.00G Unresolved DISG
Confidence: TICK ---|----- ANTI <= Minor Vulnerability: Capture with your Commander
Dignity: SHAM ----|--- EXPO <= Significant Vulnerability: Reach 1.00G Unresolved SHAM
I didn't realize I needed one of the upgrades, as I had also encountered the "reach 1000%" vulnerability which does clearly require a specific upgrade, and thought that was the only case that required a specific upgrade.

Hmm going by the 1.0G numbers on the other vulnerabilities you've reached the trauma in confidence. But the damage vulnerability isn't different and there's no % shown. Is this right after you've reached the 100k unresolved trauma for confidence?
Not sure what the tickle equivalent of Detonate is. Maybe the text print out for the "non-violence" version has an error or is missing something. Did you try to capture the heroine at all at this point?
You only need the special Punisher Commander for the Total Vulnerability Break once you reach the 1000% goal. To get the % up on confidence you just need to capture the heroine with any commander a bunch of times.

It's probably been a while since I reached the 100k unresolved trauma for confidence, since I was trying to do as the text said and capture repeatedly to no avail before asking here. Confidence never had the 1000% goal that I've seen on other vulnerabilities.

I tried capturing this Chosen with a commander who had Drain, and after a few turns I saw this line, so I guess it's working:

(INJU Lv 4: escapes 4 turns early and consumes extra Capture. No Captures remaining. +120% Drain effectiveness: 220% total.)
Addendum: Once that commander was done with her, the vulnerability which had previously said to capture changed to "Reach 1000% Drain effectiveness (currently 220%)". From there, I know what to do.
