There are two events where you can use the gas-potions:

1. in the church; Maria needs to be corrupted high enough to make a worship service (or something like that)
2. during the school assembly at Monday morning (both the principal and the P.E. teacher have to be corrupted but I'm not entirely sure)

Did you use the 0.64 patch also, go to your computer you can gain acces to school from there I think it was browse internet.
