There's 1300+ positive reviews on Steam, which is quite a bit for a porn game of any kind, let alone a furry text based porn game.

Don't mistake the sentiment around here for the sentiment towards the game in general. Perspective is important if you want to understand why this game has the leeway to keep doing what it's doing.

For whatever reasons, it has found a good spot.

Y'know, I don't disagree with that but how many backers do they have for this again? Good on them for having a good spot and all but I think we can all agree they could've had way more than that.

At least in CoC1, transformations are there for a reason other than aesthetics.
Who gives a shit if you're an abomination of multiple transformations, you can beat ANYTHING 'cause of those.

The old mechanics got wiped clean and we only have the literal new ones.

2.5 stars.Because the game has some characters i enjoy.Orlaith and kalysea are 1 star each.Eve is 0.5 cause her dragon form sucks.Like unironically that little blowjob thing we do before we talk to her as a "greeting" is hotter than ALL of her dragon scenes.Base eve is superior AND there was that whole threesome/fouroseme option,the scenes were hot and if you went to visit her there was a chance for your slut cat sucking her off and you joining in or keep watching(dont quote me on the latter)

Ive accepted that the PC will never be important in any scene so i just remove him from the picture and enjoy the NPCs fucking.A unique strategy developed purely to distill some sort of enjoyment from this game

I don't think there's enough cactus rum in Hawkthorne for me to drink that would make me enjoy scenes again.
Should've made the PC an actual OC by the devs than giving us the illusion of choice in the first place.

Hell, a Visual Novel Ren'py version would be preferred since this is pretty much it.
We're going from point A to point B to see andd read / learn stories / scenes of other characters in the eyes of the reader which is our PC.

With the occasional carrot and this dick part, I mean stick.
But what's the difference in that world?
