I might be missing something, but how do you play this game if you're blind? How did you write this post, even?
Text readers and text games have literally been part of gaming history for decades now. MUDs were the most famous of these genres and blind people are a big part of why they never truly died

I'll be honest, I'm kind of having trouble visualising what you're getting at. You're vision-impaired, but not so much so that you can't read the game text? Maybe you're being metaphorical.
I think by "blind" he means he doesn't use guides or anything like that. As in "blind playthrough." Dunno for sure.

The only thing you told me that I didn't already know is that blind people play MUDs.

Personally, I guess I just figured that anything that would allow someone to navigate website interfaces and the like would also be capable of "reading" other physical objects on the screen, like for instance the tile map in TiTS/CoC. CoC for instance has an actual gameplay element in addition to its textual element, and with CoC2's awful GUI in particular I can't really see how navigating it would be possible or at the very least such an inordinate pain that I'm not sure how someone could justify it. In any case, til blind (or at least a single blind) people play FenCo games. Porn really is the great equaliser.

The tile descriptors themselves aren't locational prompts; they're flavour prompts, designed to help the player visualise the zones they're traversing. While I personally don't need them to realise that the forest I'm in is, predictably, foresty, I do understand why they're included for less imaginative folk, or those just wanting to immerse themselves more within the environment. Like, personally though, I just feel like they're out of place from a pacing perspective. The game wants you to go here, go there, talk to this person, collect this, go back, etc. There's also the RNG nature of the combat encounters, wherein you have to generally complete x random encounter y amount of times to progress a story ark, requiring you to constantly jump in and out of combat a million times over the course of a few minutes. With all the minutiae required, it kind of disincentivises you to to "take things in" without ruining the flow of the rest of the game imo. No accounting for my own shit taste tho

It's called Text to Speech, which means he essentially beats it to Microsoft Samantha saying dirty things.

I really like her design. Cute and sexy. Just her looks makes her one of my favorite NPC alongside Clementine. (Clemetine is a cutie)
I'd really like Lusina to be a companion. Sadly, Savin is either done with her or pretty much forgot that she exist. Which has become the norm with characters that aren't kitsunes or named Cait.
I liked how she's the only thing with which the game remembers that the Fire Elemental is a fucking fire elemental!

I too, am starting to long for the majesty and utter profoundness of the Kitsune Den inhabitants to be conveyed to me through the angelic chords of Microsoft Sam.

Are you telling me that the femboys get a lactating scene with Brint but not the women?! What?!?!

Well, you are in a luck, Savin is planning to work on her in near future.

Relating to the rest of the the comment in given image, I really hope that Khor'minos becomes more fleshed out then Winter City. Since we were always teased by it, especially If you played this game early in its development, it would be a shame if it felt barren. And I feel that time window should be wide enough for them to gradually add content to it. Still, the phrase "It depends on every ones focus" really is not filling me with to much good faith in there ability to stick there landing.

There are both trap and shemale variants of some of the sex scenes with Brint. And female pcs have a milking sex option with Brint where you can give him a milky titfuck or get plowed while he milks you.

My PC gets pregnant everytime and idc idc. I love that scene.

Yeah. And the moth girl IIRC is actually a nobility of some other place? Some princess?

Whoever wrote her completely forgot about her.

Text to speech readers, man. He is probably using one of those?

And not to be mean, but your response doesn't actually answer the guy lol.

Blind and visually impaired people use programs designed to read text on the computer screen.
Programs like text editors and web browsers can be used with a screenreader, assuming the program is accesible for such application.
Which not always works, because not every program is accessible.
I am not sure if I can post links, but type "Nonvisual Desktop Access" or "Jaws" in Google if you want to know more about screenreaders.
The explanation will be better than I can give with my inadequate English skills.

For example, I am unable to get past some puzzles in TITS, unless I know how to cheat or save edit that part.
The bomb disarming on Tarkus is at the top of my head, but it is only one example of things I am unable to access in that game.
Thankfully the developer of COC2 seems to care more for the accessibility of the game.

As for the location descriptions, they help me orient myself where I am.
The last planet in TITS still has some rooms without descriptions and I stayed away from it when it had none at all.

By the way, I am a girl.
I cannot find where to set gender, so if someone could point me in the right direction, it would be appreciated.

Answer what, exactly? He didn't pose any questions, I was just elaborating my stance on why I think the tile descriptors are at-odds with the general flow and design of the game. And yes, I understand the concept of a speech reader, but the game isn't purely made up of text elements, as I'm sure you're aware. I was never advocating for the removal of content already in the game either, just posing a hypothetical as to whether continuing to do so was worth the time and resources. Given that someone who benefits from them and likely wouldn't be able to enjoy the product otherwise made themselves known, the question was pretty much answered.

You set gender through the journal. Go to Journal, which will default to the "Quest" screen. Then there are tabs along the top labeled Quests, Appearance, Character, Powers, Codex. These can be clicked on directly. Or at the bottom in the navigation you can click the button "Tab" with an arrow pointing right which move cycle through the tabs. Tab and an arrow pointing left will obviously go back.

Under appearance you will get options at the bottom for gender to be "auto", always male, or always female.

Hit exit or journal again to return to game.

I meant gender in the forum profile.
Sorry for not being more specyfic.

The only problem I have with the game itself, if I can call it that, is deciphering Mai's and Miko's speech.

Doesn't look like there's any way to set that, presumably because rule 1.3 for the forum states "This is not a dating site, don't treat it like one", so the gender (or sexual orientation, kink preferences, etc.) of a user shouldn't come into question often enough that it needs a dedicated field in each user's profile.

If it's relevant to a game discussion for some reason, those things can still be mentioned as needed.

What is the lore on Miko and Mai anyway? I think they've appeared in other games as well (Coc1 and Fall of Eden? Tits?) but I don't know whose pet OCs they are.

For CoC2 at least it just looks like Tobs wanted to insert that kansai dialect anime/manga trope into the game. But it feels especially at odds with Miko and Mai because both they and everyone else around them acts so refined and politely distant...and then Miko/Mai open their mouths lol. I'm pretty sure their accent is explained, I just don't think it makes a lot of sense that people so close to the main house (their grandmother is the current leader right?) were given a pass and not given speech tutors so they don't sound like country bumpkins.

That's great. I just kinda hoped that she would become a companion since she knows how to fight (She kicked my ass a few time with her annoying duelist's stance). But If I remember correctly, I think they said they were done with adding companions.

Is there a patch for the kobold content yet so you don't randomly get the kobold babies showing up in the tavern and sort of breaking the encounter?

Also whats the most powerful class/team build? I don't really have much interest in engaging with the game mechanics as a challenge and mostly just want things to be easy so I can explore freely.
