The entire staff, both CoC2's and TiTS' seem to have misgivings about a lot of the content that made it's way into the OG CoC, Fen included. I still remember a thread, years ago, where Savin and Nonesuch essentially equated people liking contents like Kelt's (and wanting to see similar content, even in an entirely fictional capacity), to being actual psychomurderers irl. Like, I get it, peoples tastes change, and it's entirely fair to go in a different direction with your future projects, just...maybe not so much when you're capitalising off of the brand power of an IP that historically roots itself in corruption and other strange degeneracy. Really, anyone looking for the sorts of content that made OG CoC what it is should be looking elsewhere than current (or future) FenCo products.

My personal opinion of his proclivities aside, he, or anyone else involved in these games, don't get to stand on the moral high ground

Neglecting a proper "corruption" path is merely a way to cut out half the content while taking in nearly the same cash since they know most people just want to play the "nice guy anime harem protag"

I'd respect them much more if they just admitted they didn't want to put in the work rather than pretending that PC demon rape/murder rampages unnerve them

The thing is, while I and many criticize the lack of corruption content as of now, I do not think that is because of any moral stance. They either did not want to do it since they felt it was to early for story to have corrupt content, do not want double there workload or as I said, some of the authors probably do not enjoy writing it. Not really an excuse for game to be so barren in dickish possibility, but I am am still going to give them some benefit of the doubt. Maybe I am being to generous, but then again, I am not exactly paying for this game to begin with.

Bullying NTR fetishists is a f95 classic, the site wouldn't be the same without regular fights over whether or not certain devs should be killed irl for implementing a fetish some poster doesn't like. Or legitimate arguments when games veer way off their original themes into becoming ntr games too I suppose, though those fights are much less entertaining.

This argument doesn't really work anymore imo, there's literal demons just roaming the lands openly not!Raping people as they go. Just seems more like they don't really want to write corrupt content, considering how little interaction even the fully "corrupt" personality type gets, and how mild it is compared to how demons act.


Also as for the Brienne scene, outside of it being a particularly weird form of railroading, the art style just kind of stands out really weirdly to me. It's so different to all the other art in the game that it doesn't really even look like Brienne to me. I'm always surprised when games implement such massively different styles like that, seeds of chaos did it too and it was similarly bizarre there. Is the Brienne piece fan art or something?

Is anyone else really annoyed with how much brienne wants to fuck you? I hope they remove that scene or reduce it's chance of it happening significantly. It's fine the first few times but it happens so fucking often I loaded an old save just to get brint back because I couldn't stand brienne anymore.

So it's been forever since i accepted Keros' deal, are Kitsune Powers any better now? specifically the foxfire blade one (the one that lets you coat your melee attacks in foxfire) because thinking on making a mage and i'm wondering if it's any worth making it a melee mage? like +1 Strength, +1 Willpower, +1 Cunning (or is it still crap compared to other powers? i'm of the opinion your Kitsune Transformation needs a lv6 ability ASAP)

picking either choice doesn't advance the text and I can do anything else since all other clickable game icons are greyed out during dialogue

Have to close and restart the game entirely

Seems to happen regardless of whether I sleep in a camp tent or the inn

Like if it says strength and then strength mod. Or just what any of the mods mean in the save editor. I'm sort of confused when I try to edit my stats.

Think of mods as potion buffs. Lets say your (raw unboosted) strength is 15. Well, having strength mod of 3 gives you (temporal) strength of 18. So that is what it means.

What are the max stats that you can have? In the first game I believe it was 100 for almost everything and then you'd add those mods and get a little bit more for like fatigue and lust etc.

If I recall right, if you don't save to file specifically, the game keeps all your saves in some big undecipherable abomination file. If you're trying to load someone elses save just use load from file.

The usual save files can not be accessed as they are stored within your browser of choice's Local Storage .db file. These normally cannot be opened as for security purposed they are locked with a unique key. The Save to File filenames end in .coc2.
