I don't think there's been a single well liked "play as the NPC" quest in any of these games, going all the way back to urtaquest and the huge shitstorm that (and that character in general) created.
Them rarely being based around characters you actually care about certainly doesn't help with that. I imagine they might be more well liked if they were short pov stories about how our companions came to be in the region or something?
I liked Gweyrquest but kinuquest was lackluster for me, but was surprised to see someone from CoC1 in that quest.
Regardless, kinuquest gives you a good wand as a reward so i suggest you do it if you're on a mage build.
Unless I'm mistaken isn't blue flame blade the strongest passive melee buff in the game? Also, from lurking on fenoxoforums I think agility is better than cunning as it apparently gives the same crit chance increase while also increasing your chance of hitting.

I like them but every one of them really clashes with rest of the tone in the game. That is to say they are more violent than anything our character can do/experience in the game. And you really need to care for a character in Kinus case for you to care. But what I do like about them is that they always lead to more dialogue options. And in Kinus case, there is character that I have never expected to see again.

You sure about that? as far as i get it Agility only raises your accuracy, dodge chance and initiative in combat, ain't nothing about crit in the wikia (i could be wrong, lord knows how long it's been since the wikia about stats was last updated)

To be fair, this is a backers patch. They are ment as a reward for people that pledge on patreon. It is up to people on patreon to see if it is worth it. Full updates are public ones which come out once a month.
I like Inari Kinu.
But at same time, yeah this is to much. Like, I would be fine with this if it involved our character somewhat. Like us going on quest with her. But not like this. At least this one has Kohaku, who I like. First one was a tonal whiplash and a half.

They get everything public receives, they just get it sooner in chunks. Patreon patches In themselves are not a incentive. They are just a reward for them supporting the game that they already like and want to see developed further and faster.

Yeah, and my groceries are just a "reward" for supporting the supermarket. Come on, it's a purchase in all but name, and for 6,500 dollars a week, it should be more than this, IMO.

Maybe, but I am not one paying. And these updates do not have predetermined amount of content promised each week. Yoy get what you get. It is up to you to see if its worth it. Since some updates will end up being more substantial than others. But I usually wait until public patch for me to play. And I am usually satisfied with what is added in the game.
And you get free stuff at your grocery store since other people are paying for your expenses? Lucky.

Pass, thankyou people for sharing, you're awesome and is not your fault this Update doesn't offer much, it's the Dev's fault, gonna wait till there's new Skills/Levels/Lewd/Quests OUR PC CAN DO, other than that i sleep (and i daresay i'm not alone in the sentiment)

You got me with the good wand part and then I realized I don't have Kinu (nor Kiyoko) because non-dickwielders are completely locked out of their content so...jokes on me. Do you know what the item's name is? Maybe I can just save edit it in.
