You can decide to not recruit some companions I think (if you deny their quests or choose not to take them with you after the quest), but I'm not 100% positive since I always recruit everybody. The wiki wasn't helpful either, and I just noticed it's also quite unbalanced. On Brint's page Arona is already listed on the threesome list as a possible partner, but on Arona's page her whole quest is missing, although it's already in the game.
People being dramatic over someone elses writing not being the way they want, you can see in TV shows, AAA games, everywhere. Can't say I enjoy TITS or COC becoming a game about dickgirls plowing dickgirls and I can see how long term patreon supporters can be upset about game direction straying away from what they paid for for long time, but in the end it's not like it's never happened before. The game is free and you only pay for earlier access to content, so you don't lose much by deciding to stop to support it.I can't understand how people can get so worked up over a porn game character. Cait isn't one of my favorite npcs either, and I barely interact with her. I'm also slightly dissapointed, that she gets so much attention, while there are still so many other unfinished characters, stories and quests (Arona recruitment for example), but that's how it is. At the end of the day it's still only a game, which most of us play for free. And even if I'm not happy about all their decisions (I want Arona DAMMIT), there's still enough stuff in it for me to enjoy the game. Even with Cait as the designated attention whore.
Y'know, the max level cap is level 4 since it's only been made to be 4. Deliberately. Since there's no real content that facilitates the need to be a higher level than that. Does that specifically make it a clusterfuck...? ...I dunno...
This was already a problem in CoC I and still is in TiTs and CoC II. Adding more characters and more storylines/sidequests instead of finishing one character and his/her/it's storyline. I am not a fan of that either, and I especially cringe when I read sentences like "new encounter, no real content". But lets be honest for a second, most people play games like this for the content, not the main story. And there's still plenty of content added regularly.
Amen. And that's what TiTs and CoCs are for. No pun intended.
